    摘要: The object of the invention is a bowed instrument comprising a body (2) and a neck (1), the upper face of the body (2) being the top plate (4), at the bottom of which a tailpiece is disposed secured to the bottom of the instrument, the strings (14) being disposed in a tensioned state, supported from below by a bridge, between the tailpiece and the scroll (8) of the neck (1). The bowed instrument according to the invention comprises a tailpiece (16) that is adapted to retain the bottom portion of the strings (14), has an arcuate triangular shape, has an asymmetrically shaped body made of a multilayered material, and is rounded along the periphery of its body, wherein bores (20) adapted for receiving the strings (14) are disposed at the bottom corner (a) and along the arced portion (9) extending between the two upper corners (b, c) thereof.

    摘要: A device for detecting the grip pattern when playing a bowed instrument, having a sensor film arrangeable on the fingerboard for detecting the grip pattern. The sensor film is formed from at least one resistance layer, a conductive layer and a spacer layer arranged in-between, and having an evaluation circuit, by which evaluation circuit the resistance changes of the sensor film caused by the grip pattern are able to be detected. The resistance layer is divided into a number of resistance tracks corresponding to the number of strings of the bowed instrument. The width of each resistance track is formed increasing from one end of the sensor film to the other end of the sensor film, and the upper layer of the sensor film is formed by the conductive layer, and the sensor film has a curvature, corresponding to the arch of the fingerboard.

In an example embodiment, the electrical components are configured to electrically measure the force exerted by the sound post on the upper and lower walls of the instrument's sound box. In some embodiments, the electrical components may operate to mechanically change the length of the sound post assembly through an electrical actuator, such as a piezo-electric actuator or an electro-magnetic motor.     摘要: A stringed instrument with sympathetic strings is provided that includes (in addition to the primary elements corresponding to standard instrument elements) sympathetic strings, one or more supplementary bridges, a supplementary string termination assembly, and a set of supplementary tuners. The sympathetic strings are stretched diagonally across the soundboard of the instrument, with one end of each string attached at a supplementary tuner and the other end attached at a supplementary string termination assembly. The sympathetic strings are spaced by the supplementary bridge(s) a sufficient distance from the soundboard to prevent interaction with it during vibration of the string during playing. The sympathetic strings are activated by sound vibrations created by the bowed primary strings, may additionally be activated by plucking or strumming, and may be manually muted.
