Abstract: A utility article for protecting and covering the strings of a musical instrument, while providing options for visibility and display. The utility article, including a covering member made of flexible material and having a front side and a rear side. Four flaps extend from the left edge and the right edge of the covering member, wherein two flaps extend outwards to form a sleeve and the two flaps extend rearwards wrapping the neck of the musical instrument. The two pockets will serve for holding the user's common accessories and tools, while an attachable flap will allow the device to second as a guitar strap when not in its primary use.

Abstract: A connector device for electronic musical instruments. The connector device comprising input electrical connector means that receives electrical signals generated by pickup means for an instrument. The instrument being played and a vibration transducer mechanically attached to the input electrical connector means or provided as an integral part of the input electrical connector means, such that vibrations from the instrument are transferred to the vibration transducer. The vibration transducer generates an electrical output signal based on the vibrations. The connector device comprises electrical output connector means that receives the electrical signals generated by the pickup means and the electrical output signal from the vibration transducer and provides these signals to equipment. The connector device further comprises a mixer that combines the signals vg(t) from the pickup means and the signal vvib(t) from the vibration transducer. The mixer provides output signal vo(t) that is a weighted combination of the input signals.

The elastic piece fast mounting structure of the elastic pieces and the bracket enable the elastic pieces to be replaced by such a mounting structure.

Abstract: The invention provides a stringed musical instrument comprising a guitar-type hollow body, a neck joined to the hollow body, and a banjo-type pot comprising a rim, a head and a tension hoop, positioned within a first interior chamber within the hollow body. The rim and head define a second interior chamber within the banjo-type pot. The banjo-type pot is affixed to a back surface of the hollow body such that the head of the banjo-type pot is proximal to a front surface of the hollow body and distal to the back surface of the hollow body. The banjo-type pot is positioned within the first interior chamber to form a path for sound waves generated by the head to travel from a second interior chamber within the banjo-type pot through the first interior chamber and out of at least one opening provided on the front surface of the hollow body.

Abstract: A musical instrument pitch changing apparatus for a musical instrument having at least a first and second string is disclosed. The apparatus includes a bender lever pivotally secured to the musical instrument, a rocker arm pivotally secured to the instrument with a bender saddle for varying the tension in the first string in response to movement of the bender lever between the first and second positions. A mount secures the rocker arm and bender saddle to the first selected string in a first bending configuration or to the second selected string in a second bending configuration. Abstract: Embodiments of a capo and fretting component are described. In certain embodiments, the fretting component is threaded onto a crossbar configured to overlie the instrument strings when in use and to pivot with respect to the crossbar so as to contact and press the strings against a fret on the instrument neck. The fretting component is offset with respect to the attachment mechanism of the capo, allowing the attachment mechanism to be offset on the neck of the instrument from where it would normally be positioned to achieve a comparable fretting effect.
