Abstract: An ultraconductor includes: a base substrate; a carbon nanotube layer on the base substrate, the carbon nanotube layer including a plurality of carbon nanotubes; and an insulating layer on the carbon nanotube layer, wherein the plurality of carbon nanotubes are substantially all aligned along a longitudinal axis of the base substrate. A method of manufacturing the ultraconductor includes: preparing a base substrate; depositing a plurality of carbon nanotubes on the base substrate to form a carbon nanotube layer; depositing an insulating layer on the carbon nanotube layer, wherein the plurality of carbon nanotubes are substantially all aligned along a longitudinal axis of the base substrate.

Abstract: An article is provided to have a transparent substrate; and an electrically-conductive, metal-containing pattern disposed on a surface the transparent substrate. The electrically-conductive, metal-containing pattern has, in order outwardly from a surface of the transparent substrate: a first darkening agent; a metallic pattern; and a second darkening agent. The first darkening agent substantially conforms to a first surface of the metallic pattern, forming a first darkened surface on the metallic pattern. Abstract: A busbar for use in mechanically and electrically connecting components in a device or system. The busbar includes a plurality of conductors arranged to provide two opposed end portions and an intermediate portion, wherein each of the conductors has a plurality of intermediate extents that traverse the intermediate portion. The intermediate portion including: (A) an unfused segment where no intermediate extents of the conductors are fused together to form a single consolidated conductor, and (B) a fused segment that includes (i) a partial solidification zone where a majority of the intermediate extents of the conductors are fused together to form a partially solidified region that provides a single consolidated conductor, (ii) a full solidification zone where all of intermediate extents of the conductors are fused together to form a fully solidified region that provides a single consolidated conductor, and (iii) an unsolidified region where all of the intermediate extents of the conductors are not fused together.

Abstract: A copper-aluminum composite electric energy transmission system and a processing method therefor. The system includes a copper terminal and an aluminum cable. The aluminum cable includes an aluminum conductor and an insulation layer cladding a periphery of the aluminum conductor. The system further includes an electric energy transmission aluminum piece, in which a section of the aluminum conductor with the insulation layer stripped from the aluminum cable is pressed to form a connecting piece. The electric energy transmission aluminum piece and a front end of the aluminum conductor form a molten layer. An end of the copper terminal for being welded to the electric energy transmission aluminum piece is provided with a welding platform. The molten layer clads the welding platform to form a transition layer with metal atoms penetrating into or combined with each other.
