摘要： A veneer for a wall-mounted keypad may include indicia that are laser cut therethrough and that are representative of functions that may be performed by the keypad. The veneer may include a recess that extends into an inner surface of the veneer, proximate to the indicia. The recess may be shaped such that a perceived aesthetic of an outer surface of the veneer is preserved during formation of the indicia. The recess may for example have an organic shape defined by a curved outer perimeter that does not define any corners.

摘要： Modular wire management systems may include connectors configured for mounting on a base and for connecting to extension members, thereby connecting extension members to one another, to form a framework for managing and routing wires at one or more heights above the base. The systems may further include securing members configured to secure wires to the framework. Modularity may be provided in that every extension member may be connectable to every connector, and every connector may be connectable to every extension member. Connections may be achieved by secure but detachable friction fit, providing both stability and easy reconfigurability. Flexibility of configurability may be provided by a wide range of different kinds of connectors. Connectors may be provided with non-electrically conductive mounting portions for connecting to the base. Apparatuses and methods are also provided.

摘要： Method and apparatus for improving sound quality in audio cables, including a plurality of equally spaced conductive discs separated by a gap and configured in a generally linear array, each of the discs having an annular shape with planar sides, an outer diameter, a center hole having a diameter, and a thickness. The disc array is placed around an audio signal cable such that the planar sides of the discs are oriented parallel to one another and perpendicular to signal cable axis. The spacing between discs is approximately four to ten times the thickness of said discs, and the disc diameter is between 2 and 4 times the diameter of the center hole.

摘要： A dielectric cover system for an insulator supporting a high voltage conductor is molded to fit over the insulator to cover at least a top portion of the insulator and the conductor in contact with the insulator. A clip internal to the cover allows the cover to be freely placed over the insulator and then effectively restricts an inner diameter of the cover at a reduced diameter neck portion of the insulator, such that the clip blocks the cover from being lifted off the insulator and rotated about the insulator during high wind conditions. The clip is particularly effective where the conductor is supported in a side groove of the insulator, so the insulator and conductor form an asymmetric structure.
