摘要: Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI), Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or AF/GF circuit breakers which may optionally have relatively small or compact bodies that have shaped neutral busbars and/or load terminals with an arm that extends through a window of a current transformer in a circuit breaker housing. The neutral busbar and/or load terminal can have a rigid or semi-rigid shaped body with a first segment that extends through the window of the current transformer and a second segment that extends behind the first segment about a printed circuit board. A plug-on, pigtail or bolt-on neutral can engage an electrical pad of the neutral busbar.

摘要: Conventional Fe-based soft magnetic alloy ribbons each containing Co and Ni have a problem that magnetic anisotropy that is neatly arranged in one direction cannot be induced easily even by a magnetic field annealing treatment and, therefore, a wound magnetic cores, a problem that a residual magnetic flux density Br is high, a problem that the hysteresis of the B—H curve becomes large (coercivity Hc becomes large), a problem that the change in incremental permeability relative to superimposed magnetic field becomes large, and others. In order to solve the problems, provided is an Fe-based soft magnetic alloy ribbon including a Cu-concentrated region present directly below a surface of the ribbon, and a Co-concentrated region present directly below the Cu-concentrated region. Also provided is a magnetic core including the Fe-based soft magnetic alloy ribbon.

摘要: A power switching device is provided with an integrated current sensor. The device includes component housing and multiple terminal legs extending therefrom. A current sensor assembly includes an interior cavity having a galvanically insulating tubular sleeve extending therethrough. A toroidal inductive winding resides within the first cavity and is circumferentially disposed about the sleeve, with one leg of the device defining a (single-turn) primary winding and the winding defining a secondary winding magnetically coupled to the device leg. Current sensing terminals are associated with respective locations along the inductive winding, wherein a current through the encapsulated terminal leg is detectable via respective current sensing leads extending from the assembly housing. A damping inductive element such as a ferrite bead may be provided within a second interior cavity defined by the assembly housing to suppress high frequency oscillations associated with a second (e.g., gate) terminal leg of the switching device.

摘要: A sensor for sensing stress in a ferromagnetic material includes a non-magnetic substrate. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. A first coil is attached to or formed on the first surface of the substrate. The first coil is configured to induce a magnetic flux in the ferromagnetic material being driven by an alternating current (AC) signal. At least one second coil is attached to or formed on the first surface of the substrate. The at least one second coil is spaced from the first coil. In addition, the second coil is configured to detect changes in the magnetic flux induced in the ferromagnetic material.

摘要: A current transformer system according to the present invention includes: a sensor CT detachably attached to an electric power transmission/distribution line for detecting the current flowing through the power line by means of electromagnetic induction; a generator CT detachably attached to an electric power transmission/distribution line for generating power by means of electromagnetic induction; and a microprocessor for controlling the sensor CT and the generator CT. According to the present invention, the generator CT is used as the main power source so as to perform independently power supply and facilitate the construction of an additional source in need of additional power.

摘要: The subject matter herein pertains to a current transformer, comprising a secondary coil, connection contacts for establishing electrically conductive contact with the secondary coil from the outside, and a housing having a housing body and a housing head, wherein the secondary coil is accommodated in the housing body and/or is attached to the housing body, and the connection contacts of the secondary coil are provided on the housing head. According to one implementation, a connecting mechanism is provided, by means of which the housing head and the connection contacts can be mechanically or electrically conductively detachably connected to the housing body and to the secondary coil. A current transformer is therefore provided, which is cost-effective to produce and is flexible in terms of the use thereof.

摘要: A current transformer support device includes three plate-like conductors, each of which has a first connection portion at one end and a second connection portion at the other end, and which are aligned linearly side by side while being spaced apart from one another, and a current transformer case which integrally insulates and supports the three conductors between the one end and the other end. The current transformer support device is characterized in that the current transformer case has current transformer attachment portions provided at positions corresponding to at least two of the three conductors, to which ring-like current transformer coils formed so as to insert the conductors are attached, and that the current transformer case and the current transformer coils attached to the current transformer attachment portions are formed into one unit with a hardening insulating material.

摘要: A current transformer includes a closed magnetic circuit and a secondary winding. A first part of the closed magnetic circuit completely surrounds a primary conductor, and a second part of the closed magnetic circuit forms the secondary winding. The second part of the closed magnetic circuit serves as a magnetic core of the secondary winding. The closed magnetic circuit forms a plurality of branch magnetic circuits at the second part, and a secondary winding is formed on each branch magnetic circuit. Each branch magnetic circuit serves as a magnetic core of a corresponding secondary winding. Each secondary winding is staggered with each other in at least one of the length, the height and the thickness.
