    摘要: The present invention provides an electrically conductive electrode comprising particles of an electroactive material and a conductive graphene polymer binder that bonds multiple particles of the electroactive material together, wherein the binder is in an amount of from 0.01% to 90% by weight based on the total electrode weight. Also provided are (a) a precursor solution or suspension to the graphene polymer binder for the electrode; (b) a paste containing electroactive particles and a graphene polymer dispersed in a liquid; (c) a method of producing the electrode from the precursor paste; and (d) an electrochemical cell (a battery or supercapacitor) containing such an electrode.

    摘要: A composition for an electrode active material slurry and an electrochemical capacitor including an electrode using the same. The electrochemical capacitor includes: an electrode having a current collector coated with the composition for an electrode active material slurry including an electrode active material, a material including a nonpolar hydrophobic functional group, and a surfactant; a separator; and an organic electrolyte. Additives improving flowability of the electrode active material slurry and wettability to the electrolyte, thereby increase an effective electrode area contacted with the electrolyte and decrease inner resistance of the electrode, with the result that there can be provided an electrochemical capacitor having higher capacitance and lower electrode resistance when the active material and conductive material are added in the same amount.

    摘要: An electric double layer capacitor includes a pair of collectors, a separator, a conductive coating film, a polarizable electrode, and an electrolyte solution. The separator is arranged between the collectors. The conductive coating film covers a surface of at least one of the collectors facing the separator. The polarizable electrode is formed as to be in contact with at least a surface of the conductive coating film facing the separator. Preferably, electrolyte solution has a fluorine-containing organic solvent, and is impregnated into the polarizable electrode. Preferably, the capacitor enables an operating voltage of 3.5 V or higher.

    摘要: The present invention provides a polarizable electrode for an electrical double layer capacitor which has good high-temperature storage characteristics and can prevent a decrease in electrostatic capacity and increase in internal resistance, and also provides an electrical double layer capacitor using the electrode. A polarizable electrode is formed by mixing Ketjen black, active charcoal and a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) aqueous solution. An etched aluminum foil is used for the collector, and this etched aluminum foil is dipped in a phosphoric acid aqueous solution or an ammonium phosphate or other phosphate aqueous solution to thereby retain 15 to 115 mg/m2 of phosphorus on the surface of the etched aluminum foil. The electrostatic capacity per unit area on the surface of this etched aluminum foil is 50 to 350 μF/cm2.
