    Abstract: An electronic device and a knob module thereof are provided. The knob module includes a circuit board, a rotary encoder, a light guide structure, a plurality of light emitting units, and a rotation cover. The rotary encoder is disposed on the circuit board. The light guide structure is disposed on the circuit board. The light guide structure includes a light guide ring and an annular light guide wall. The light guide ring surrounds the rotary encoder. The annular light guide wall extends downward from the light guide ring to abut against the circuit board. The plurality of light emitting units is disposed on the circuit board and located between the annular light guide wall and the rotary encoder for emitting light toward the annular light guide wall. The rotation cover is disposed on the rotary encoder.

    Abstract: A switch apparatus for an automobile with a reduced size by installing a touch type switch apparatus inside a dial switch apparatus is provided. A switch apparatus for an automobile according to the present disclosure includes a main body which has an open lower side, a cover body which is inserted into the open lower side of the main body and is coupled to the main body, a dial switch apparatus which is installed on the main body and has an annular wheel knob rotatable with a virtual rotation axis disposed in a vertical direction as a rotation center, a touch type switch apparatus which is installed on the main body and has a capacitive touch pad which is touched by a user and pressed in an up-down direction, a main PCB which is coupled to the cover body to be disposed in the main body and into which a switch signal is input from the dial switch apparatus and the touch type switch apparatus, and a case body which is coupled to the main body and has a hole, through which the wheel knob and the capacitive touch pad are exposed, on an upper side, in which the capacitive touch pad is disposed inside the wheel knob.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a washing apparatus and to a washing apparatus having a convenient user interface. More specifically, the present invention relates to a washing apparatus that provides a user interface that is concentrated, simple and intuitive. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a washing apparatus may be provided that is characterized by comprising: an annular rotary knob provided for course selection; a display for selectively displaying a course screen showing information on a course selected from within the radial directions of the rotary knob, and an options screen for changing options for at least one wash water temperature; washing intensity, number of rinses, and spin-dry intensity within the course; a switching input part provided within the radial directions of the rotary knob in order to switch between the course screen and the options screen through a selection by a user; and a single variable input part provided to change the options when in the options screen and to make inputs unrelated to the options when in the course screen.

    Abstract: A control device configured for use in a load control system to control an external electrical load may provide simple feedback regarding the operation of the control device. For example, the control device may comprise a base portion configured to be mounted to an electrical wallbox or over a mechanical switch, and a control unit connected to the base portion. The control unit may comprise a rotation portion rotatable with respect to the base portion, an actuation portion, and a light source. The control unit may be configured to control the light source to illuminate at least an illuminated portion of the actuation portion in response to actuations of the rotation portion and the actuation portion. In addition, the control unit may provide a limit indication on the illuminated portion by blinking the illuminated portion when the electrical load has reached a limit.

    Abstract: A switch apparatus adapted to be disposed on a wall surface includes a box, a heat generating element, a cover, a switch element, and a first heat dissipation structure. The box has an opening and is adapted to be embedded into the wall surface. The heat generating element is disposed inside the box. The cover is assembled to the box and covers the opening. The cover has a front surface and a rear surface opposite to each other. The rear surface faces toward the box, and the front surface is adapted to be exposed from the wall surface. The switch element is disposed on the front surface. The first heat dissipation structure includes first and second sections connected with each other. The first section is connected with the cover and exposed from the front surface, and the second section extends into the box and contacts the heat generating element.
