    摘要: A tripping device of a circuit breaker of the present disclosure may reinforce a magnetic force on a main magnetic flux path using a plurality of magnetic force reinforcing plates without using an additional plate yoke on an actuator provided in the circuit breaker to miniaturize the size of the actuator, thereby having an effect of allowing a control circuit unit provided at an outer portion of the circuit breaker to be installed at an inner portion of the circuit breaker to miniaturize the whole size of the circuit breaker.

    摘要: A circuit breaker of the present invention provides a movable contact held by a movable contactor to be capable of passing through the interior of an arc suppressing means and to be contacted with a fixed contact from the side of the arc suppressing means. Thus, an arc generated upon an opening of the both contacts is made to shift immediately into the arc suppressing means, whereby arc dividing, cooling and suppressing are performed rapidly and the current limiting effect of the breaker is remarkably elevated.

    摘要: In the low-voltage circuit breaker that has a toggle lever system connecting the actuating arm to a carrier that moves the movable contact, a locking lever is provided to prevent transfer of the operating lever handle to its "off" position if the movable contact is welded to the stationary contact. The locking lever is pivoted about a bearing support formed in the housing of the circuit breaker. The opposite end of the locking lever is connected to the handle to be pivoted by it. The locking lever has an angled-off projection that extends into the path of movement of the carrier and is positioned to engage the carrier if the latter is unable to move from its "on" position due to welding of the contacts together. When the contacts are not welded together, the locking lever enforces the toggle levers to snap through to their "off" position before the angled-off part of the locking lever comes into contact with the carrier of the movable contact.

    摘要: An electric circuit breaker with blow open contact arm characterized by a pair of separable contacts one of which is mounted on a contact arm that is rotatably mounted on mounting bracket. The contacts maintain a repulsion magnetic force which operates to separate the contacts when a predetermined current overload occurs. A trip mechanism is connected to the mounting bracket or automatic opening of the contacts in response to a predetermined current overload condition. The contact arm comprising a cam and the mounting bracket comprising a cooperable cam follower whereby the contact arm is movable to an open contact independently of the mounting bracket.

    摘要: A multiple pole circuit breaker comprises stationary and movable contacts in each pole, with a cross bar extending between the poles and causing concerted movement of the movable contacts. An operating mechanism effects movement of the movable contacts between open and closed positions, and a resettable undervoltage release mechanism cooperates with the operating mechanism to effect movement of the movable contacts. The undervoltage release mechanism operates to move the movable contacts from the closed to open position upon the occurrence of voltage levels less than a predetermined value, with the undervoltage release mechanism being reset by physical contact with the cross bar as the cross bar moves with the movable contacts from the closed to open positions.

    摘要: A solid state overload relay mechanism designed for minimizing the forces required to open an electrical contact associated therewith in the event of a current overload in a protected circuit, and further designed for overcoming residual magnetism in a solenoid initiating the opening of the contact. The contact includes a pair of stationary contacts supported by a base and a pair of movable contact supported by a contact carrier. A latch defines a notch which is normally engaged with a lever. When so engaged, the contact carrier is positioned such that the movable contacts are in contact with the stationary contacts. When the lever becomes disengaged from the latch, the contact carrier is moved and contact between the movable contacts and stationary contacts is broken. The latch is provided with a counterbalance weight to aid in minimizing the force required to return the latch to its original position after the mechanism is tripped. A latch arm extends away from the latch into the path of the lever such that as the lever travels to its extent in an arcuate path, the lever imparts motion on the latch to return it to its initial position, if such has not already occurred. An auxiliary stationary contact pair is supported by an auxiliary stationary contact housing and may be selectively installed in either a normally closed or a normally open position.
