    摘要: Provided is a temperature-sensitive pellet-type thermal fuse having excellent reliability including an insulation property after having operated. The fuse includes, in a tubular case with high electrical conductivity and high thermal conductivity, at least a temperature-sensitive pellet being capable of melting and softening at a specific temperature, a strong compression spring pressing the temperature-sensitive pellet, an insulating lid body closing an end portion of an opening of the tubular case, a weak compression spring being in contact with the insulating lid body, a first lead having an inner end penetrating the insulating lid body as a stationary contact, and a movable contact electrically connected to the first lead and the tubular case, and further includes a second lead disposed at an end of the tubular case.

    摘要: A lightweight industrial fuse has a housing and a conductive fuse. The housing has a first plastic half-housing and a second half-housing combined with each other. The conductive fuse is integrally formed and clamped between the first and second half-housing. The conductive fuse has a fusible body and two intermediary portions disposed within the housing, and two electrode portions exposed from two opposite ends of the housing. Thus, an enclosed accommodation cavity of the housing is defined through the combination of the first and second half-housing. A manufacturing process is simplified, and a manufacturing cost is decreased, and further a weight of the industrial fuse is effectively reduced.

    摘要: A fluid-affected fuse includes a structural housing, a pair of electric terminals, one or more fuse elements, and a fluid arranged in an internal volume of the structure. The structure provides rigidity to the fuse. The terminals are coupled to the structural housing and are configured to be coupled to an electric power circuit of a battery circuit. The one or more fuse elements are electrically connected in series to the pair of electric terminals and are arranged in the internal volume. The fluid is configured to affect a temperature of the fuse element. A fluid-filled fuse is filled with fluid, optionally sealed, and operated with the increased heat capacity of the fluid to affect temperature of the fuse. A fluid-cooled fuse is filled with the fluid, undergoing a stream of the fluid thus allowing control of fuse temperature. A control system controls the fluid stream and fuse operation.

    摘要: A power fuse for protecting an electrical load subject to transient load current cycling events in a direct current electrical power system is provided. The power fuse includes at least one fuse element assembly that includes one or more substrates, one or more sets of weak spots, and a conductor. The weak spots are formed on the substrates, and the substrates are longitudinally spaced apart from one another along the conductor. The conductor is separately provided from the substrate and the weak spots. The conductor includes one or more strips of metal having no stamped weak spot openings therein and therefore avoiding thermal-mechanical fatigue strain in the conductor when subjected to the transient load current cycling events. The conductor includes connector sections that are attached to respective ones of the sets of weak spots, and extending sections coupling the connector sections.
