Abstract: In one embodiment, a method of manufacturing a high voltage power fuse includes inserting a housing over a first assembly leg of an assembly frame, assembling a first terminal fabrication to the first assembly leg of the assembly frame, assembling a second terminal fabrication to a second assembly leg of the assembly frame, connecting a full-range fuse element assembly in a gap between the first terminal fabrication and the second terminal fabrication, sliding the housing over the connected full-range fuse element assembly, securing the housing in position to enclose the full-range fuse element assembly, and applying a silicated filler material to the assembled housing, full-range fuse element, and first and second terminals to establish a mechanical bond between the silicated filler material and the assembled housing, full-range fuse element, and first and second terminals.

Abstract: A pattern fuse includes a lower film layer, an adhesive layer stacked on the lower film layer, a circuit pattern made of a conductive material and provided on the adhesive layer, an upper film layer stacked on the adhesive layer and the circuit pattern and a coating layer configured to cover the opening of the upper film layer, wherein the coating layer includes a flame retardant material. The upper film layer has an opening formed therein that is configured to allow a part or the entirety of the circuit pattern to be exposed therethrough. A method of manufacturing the pattern fuse is also provided.

Abstract: A protective element includes a base substrate, a fusible conductor, a heater, and a heater-attached substrate. The base substrate has a first electrode and a second electrode formed thereon, the first electrode and the second electrode each being connected to an external circuit. The fusible conductor is supported on a first surface thereof by the base substrate and connected to the first electrode and the second electrode. The heater is configured to fuse the fusible conductor by generating heat. The heater-attached substrate has the heater provided thereon. The fusible conductor has one contact with the heater-attached substrate and the one contact is positioned on a second surface of the fusible conductor, which is an opposite surface to the first surface.

The EMI enclosure includes a flap extending from a wall of the EMI enclosure into the chamber having a flap thermal interface thermally coupled to the electrical component to dissipate heat from the electrical component.

Abstract: A single bolt fuse assembly and method to connect a single bolt fuse to a circuit or device are disclosed. The single bolt fuse assembly enables the single bolt fuse to be used on any electrical device having a hole suitable for receiving a threaded shaft and connectable to a circuit or device that electrically connects to a female battery or power cable. The apparatus includes a separate high-conductive metal terminal that mates with the stud that mechanically attaches the fuse between the electrical devices. The stud is insulated to avoid becoming part of the electrical circuit and to ensure proper operation of the fuse. By mechanically attaching the stud to the metal terminal, the stud is unlikely to get separated from the fuse.
