    摘要: A lamp changing module for totally enclosing a lamp when the module is withdrawn from a support such as an illuminator cabinet, and permitting exposure of the lamp when properly installed and connected to the support. A potentially explosive lamp is thereby contained within the module when it is removed so that even if it explodes it will not harm nearby personnel. It also protects personnel from burn hazards associated with lamp changing.

    摘要: This invention concerns an electron beam generating system for high beam voltages in which the insulation between a grounded casing and the high-voltage electrodes is achieved by an insulating body surrounding the high-voltage electrodes with a small distance, so that the dimensions of the system are considerably smaller than with arrangements in which the insulation is primarily achieved by providing sufficient vacuum space about the high-voltage electrodes. The invention is further concerned with an automatically actuable replacement device for cathode holders, said replacement device being adapted to be controlled by monitoring means for at least one beam parameter so that the cathode holder under operation will be automatically replaced by a fresh cathode holder and cathode when the magnitude of the sensed beam parameter falls outside a predetermined range.

    摘要: For coupling a halogen incandescent lamp to a plastic lamp base in correct positional relationship, a sheet-metal lamp holder is rigidly engaged with a hermetic end seal of the lamp, and a sheet-metal sleeve is anchored in the lamp base. The sleeve has several connecting fingers extending therefrom for somewhat loose engagement in openings in the lamp holder. The loose engagement of the sleeve fingers in the lamp holder openings permit adjustment of the positions of the lamp and the lamp base, which are secured respectively to the lamp holder and to the lamp base, with respect to each other. The sleeve fingers are welded to the lamp holder following the adjustment of the positional relationship between the lamp and the lamp holder.

    摘要: An irradiation device is provided having a housing having an interior chamber and an infrared emitter arranged therein. The infrared emitter has an emitter tube made of high silica content glass having a round cross section and a defined outer diameter. Electrical connection elements are made of a metallic material and led out from the emitter tube through a seal. In order to provide the emitter with a long service life and potentially higher output, which is also suitable for being enclosed by a seal that separates the regions of different media, temperatures, or pressures, the emitter tube end also has a round cross section and the defined outer diameter. Between the electrical connection element and the emitter tube there is a seal containing at least one transition glass, which has a thermal expansion coefficient lying between that of the metallic material and that of the high silica content glass.

The method includes a lens forming step of processing a lens forming material, in which an average gradient of a γ curve indicating a residual film thickness with respect to the amount of irradiation light is between −15 and −0.8 nm·cm2/mJ within the range of a residual film ratio of 10 to 50% or within the range of the amount of irradiation light of 55 to 137 mJ/cm2 into a lens surface shape, using a photomask with an optical transmittance that is varied according to a lens surface shape, as an exposure mask.
