The porous material can include a cross-linked polymer having segments with polar functional groups. Examples of polar functional groups include, but are not limited to, those comprising one or more among O, N, P, S, and B.

摘要: The present application relates to a 1.5V lithium battery. The lithium battery includes a circuit assembly, a plastic frame, a wound battery core assembly, a first metal housing, a second metal housing, a first insulating seal and an insulating sheath. The wound battery core assembly is arranged in the second metal housing, the first metal housing and the second metal housing dock with each other and fixed by circumferential welding, and the circuit assembly includes a PCB, a low-voltage positive cap, a high-voltage positive connecting piece and a negative elastic piece. In the present application, the circuit assembly can stably output a low voltage of 1.5V.

摘要: Set forth herein are pellets, thin films, and monoliths of lithium-stuffed garnet electrolytes having engineered surfaces. These engineered surfaces have a list of advantageous properties including, but not limited to, low surface area resistance, high Li+ ion conductivity, low tendency for lithium dendrites to form within or thereupon when the electrolytes are used in an electrochemical cell. Other advantages include voltage stability and long cycle life when used in electrochemical cells as a separator or a membrane between the positive and negative electrodes. Also set forth herein are methods of making these electrolytes including, but not limited to, methods of annealing these electrolytes under controlled atmosphere conditions. Set forth herein, additionally, are methods of using these electrolytes in electrochemical cells and devices. The instant disclosure further includes electrochemical cells which incorporate the lithium-stuffed garnet electrolytes set forth herein.

摘要: Improvements in the structural components and physical characteristics of lithium battery articles are provided. Standard lithium ion batteries, for example, are prone to certain phenomena related to short circuiting and have experienced high temperature occurrences and ultimate firing as a result. Structural concerns with battery components have been found to contribute to such problems. Improvements provided herein include the utilization of thin metallized current collectors (aluminum and/or copper, as examples), high shrinkage rate materials, materials that become nonconductive upon exposure to high temperatures, and combinations thereof. Such improvements accord the ability to withstand certain imperfections (dendrites, unexpected electrical surges, etc.) within the target lithium battery through provision of ostensibly an internal fuse within the subject lithium batteries themselves that prevents undesirable high temperature results from short circuits. Battery articles and methods of use thereof including such improvements are also encompassed within this disclosure.

The negative electrode composition including a silicon-containing active material; a first negative electrode conductive material; and a negative electrode binder. The negative electrode binder has a composite structure wherein the first negative electrode conductive material is bonded to a surface of the negative electrode binder. The bond is a bond formed by a radical polymerization reaction. The negative electrode binder has a modulus of 1×103 MPa or more and 1×104 MPa or less at 25° C. The silicon-containing active material is present in an amount ranging from 60 parts by weight or more based on 100 parts by weight of the negative electrode composition.
