摘要: A battery preconditioning system may include a battery for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a thermal analysis system configured to predict, for a predetermined flight path of an upcoming flight, a temperature change of the battery as a result of the UAV traversing the predetermined flight path, and determine a target initial temperature for the battery. The target initial temperature is based at least in part on the predicted temperature change and is configured to limit a duration that the battery operates outside an operating temperature window during traversal of the predetermined flight path. The battery preconditioning system may also include a thermal management system configured to receive the target initial temperature from the thermal analysis system and thermally condition the battery by performing at least one of heating or cooling the battery to the determined target initial temperature.

摘要: A plurality of storage batteries are divided into a plurality of storage battery blocks. A useful life of each of the storage batteries is shorter than the project life. Total capacity of the plurality of storage batteries is equal to or greater than the product of capacity required for a project and a ratio of the project life to the useful life. The project life is divided into a plurality of periods. For each of the plurality of periods, a rest storage battery block is selected from the plurality of storage battery blocks in rotation, the rest storage battery block is rested, and an operational storage battery block is operated. The sum of actual operating time of each of the storage battery blocks and equivalent operating time of each of the storage battery blocks is prevented from exceeding the useful life during the project life.

摘要: A battery pack includes a first battery module and a second battery module arranged adjacent the first battery module so as to define an open space portion. Each of the first and second battery modules includes a case configured to house at least one single cell. Each case includes a wall portion including a vent through which an inside of the case is capable of communicating with an area outside the case, and a wall region without the vent. 摘要: Disclosed is a battery pack having a structure in which a plurality of unit cells constitutes a battery module, two or more of the battery modules are vertically arranged from a coolant introduction direction of a coolant inlet port to constitute a pair of battery module groups, a coolant introduction part extending from the coolant inlet port to each battery module group is provided at a middle of a pack case wherein the coolant introduction part is located between respective battery module groups, coolant discharge parts extending from respective battery module groups to coolant outlet ports are provided at an upper and lower part of the pack, and a coolant flow channel defined between the coolant introduction part and the coolant discharge parts is configured such that a coolant, introduced through the coolant introduction part, passes by each unit cell, and is discharged through the respective coolant discharge parts.

摘要: A battery module assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a heat pipe having a battery module in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked in one direction, a coupling part which is in contact with and coupled to the side surface part of the battery module, and a cooling part which extends from the coupling part so as to project away from the battery module; and a cooling plate, one surface of which is in contact with and coupled to the cooling part of the heat pipe. A cooling passage may be formed on the other surface of the cooling plate. According to the present invention, heat generated from the battery module including the battery cell can be cooled effectively.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a battery module having a housing and a stack of battery cells disposed in a receptacle area of the housing, where each battery cell has a top having a battery cell terminal and a bottom, where the top of the battery cells face outwardly away from the receptacle area. The battery module includes an integrated sensing and bus bar subassembly positioned against the stack of battery cells and has a carrier, a bus bar integrated onto the carrier, and a biasing member integrated onto the carrier. The bus bar electrically couples battery cells in an electrical arrangement, and the biasing member is between the top of each battery cell and the carrier, where the biasing member has a first material, more compliant than a second material of the carrier, and the biasing member biases the stack of battery cells inwardly toward the housing.
