摘要: The present disclosure provides a battery module including a plurality of batteries arranged sequentially in a length direction and a cushion pad disposed between two adjacent batteries in the length direction. The cushion pad can include a main body portion and an extending portion extending outwardly from an end surface of the main body portion in a height direction. The extending portion can include a pair of convex portions and a concave portion between the pair of convex portions. The design can ensure that the cushion pad does not exceed the corresponding surface of the battery in the height direction when pressed, and thus does not affect the flatness of the corresponding surface of the battery.

摘要: A method for manufacturing an all-solid-state battery includes a battery unit producing step, a flattening step, and a stacking step. In the battery unit producing step, a battery unit having a plate shape is produced through a pressing step in which a laminate including at least one each of a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, and a negative electrode active material layer is pressed in a thickness direction of the laminate with a first pressure. In the flattening step, the battery unit is flattened by pressing the produced battery unit in the thickness direction with a second pressure equal to or lower than the first pressure while heating the battery unit to a temperature equal to or higher than a temperature at which the battery unit softens and is deformed. In the stacking step, a plurality of the flattened battery units are stacked.

摘要: A cooling system for a battery pack in a vehicle comprises a base plate, a plurality of transverse members, a pump, a controller, and a heat exchanger. The controller causes the pump to generate fluid flow into an inlet/outlet port of the base plate. The base plate comprises a channel with segments for supplying fluid to a first set of fluid distribution ports and receiving fluid from a second set of fluid distribution ports. Each fluid distribution port is in fluid communication with a main conduit of a transverse member and transverse conduits connect the main conduits of a transverse member. Fluid flow through the channel in the base plate and the main conduits and transverse conduits of the transverse members cool the batteries and distribute heat. Cooling multiple sides of the batteries reduces the operating temperature to reduce charging times and extend the service life of the batteries.

摘要: A method monitors the functional capability of the cooling system of an operating high-voltage accumulator for an electric drive unit of a motor vehicle. The method repeatedly measures the temperature of the high-voltage accumulator by use of a temperature sensor mounted on the high-voltage accumulator; checks whether the measured temperature value is above a cooling threshold temperature; determines a profile of the temperature of the high-voltage accumulator using a temporal sequence of the measured temperature values of the high-voltage accumulator which are above the cooling threshold temperature; and diagnoses that the cooling system is operating correctly if the temperature profile does not exceed a predetermined threshold.
