摘要: Thermal management and venting systems are provided for traction battery packs. An exemplary thermal management and venting system may include a vent manifold and a main coolant passage extending through the vent manifold. The vent manifold may be configured to expel a battery vent byproduct from the traction battery pack during a battery thermal event, and the main coolant passage may be configured to communicate a coolant for thermally managing a battery array of the traction battery pack. A heat exchanger of the thermal management and venting system may be configured to facilitate heat transfer between the battery vent byproduct and the coolant prior to expelling the battery vent byproduct from the traction battery pack.

摘要: Efficiency of a battery module is achieved using an actively cooled high power electrical interface. The battery module comprises a plurality of battery cells, at least one busbar coupled to the battery cells, a connector electrically coupled to the at least one busbar, and at least one cooling component that is thermally coupled to the first connector. The battery cells may be arranged in two layers, each layer containing a plurality of battery cells connected by a busbar. The connector comprises a contact through which the battery module may be coupled to an external circuit. The at least one cooling component provided cooling for the battery cells and the connectors and may be placed on the surface of the battery module or between layers of battery cells.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a powertrain thermal management system for managing thermal loads in the powertrain of an electric vehicle. The system may comprise a first coolant flow path comprising a flow split valve upstream of a first DC-DC converter, a second coolant flow path comprising a first electric motor, a third coolant flow path comprising a second electric motor, a bypass valve positioned downstream of the first DC-DC converter, the first electric motor, and the second electric motor, and a radiator positioned one of directly upstream or directly downstream of the bypass valve. The first coolant flow path, the second coolant flow path, and the third coolant flow path are fluidly connected in parallel.

摘要: A heat management assembly includes a valve component and a heat exchange core body. The heat exchange core body and the valve component are fixedly connected by welding. The valve component further includes a sensor. The sensor is electrically connected to a circuit board. The sensor at least partially extends into a third flow channel. The sensor can measure the temperature and/or pressure of a working medium in the third flow channel. The heat exchange core body at least includes a positioning portion. A valve at least includes a matching portion. The positioning portion and the matching portion are provided to correspondingly match each other. The sensor, the valve component, and the heat exchange core body are integrally assembled to facilitate relative reduction of connections of pipelines and sensor lines, thereby facilitating structure simplification and facilitating mounting.

摘要: A cooling system includes a plurality of heat exchanger assemblies corresponding to a plurality of battery packs and a fluid conveyance assembly. Each heat exchanger assembly includes a first heat exchanger inlet-outlet and a second heat exchanger inlet-outlet configured to receive a heat transfer fluid or discharge the heat transfer fluid. The fluid conveyance assembly is coupled to the heat exchanger assemblies and configured to circulate the heat transfer fluid in parallel to the heat exchanger assemblies in a U-flow scheme with an inlet and an outlet of the heat transfer fluid arranged at the same location. The fluid conveyance assembly includes a plurality of flow restrictors configured to balance the heat transfer fluid flowing into the heat exchanger assemblies. The heat transfer fluid flows through the corresponding flow restrictor before flowing into the corresponding heat exchanger assembly of the battery pack.

摘要: A vehicle battery pack 100 includes at least one cell holder 102 for holding plural cells 106, and an enclosure 104 for enclosing the cell holder 102. The enclosure 106 includes a central body 112, a front endplate 114 and a rear endplate 116, each attached to a front and a rear of the central body 112, respectively. The central body 112 includes at least one coolant port 124 for filling a coolant in the enclosure 104. The central body 112 further includes a heat sink 126 for transferring heat from the coolant to the ambient area. The front endplate 114 includes a fan 130 and a pump 132, to make the battery pack 100 as a self-contained unit.
