摘要: A nickel-based active material precursor for a lithium secondary battery includes: a secondary particle including a plurality of particulate structures, wherein each particulate structure includes a porous core portion and a shell portion, the shell portion including primary particles radially arranged on the porous core portion; and the secondary particle has a plurality of radial centers. When the nickel-based active material precursor is used, a nickel-based positive active material having a short lithium ion diffusion distance, in which intercalation and deintercalation of lithium are facilitated, may be obtained. A lithium secondary battery manufactured using the positive active material may exhibit enhanced lithium availability, and may exhibit enhanced capacity and lifespan due to suppression of crack formation in the active material during charging and discharging.

The positive electrode active material of the present disclosure comprises a Na-containing oxide. The Na-containing oxide particles have a P2-type structure. The Na-containing oxide particles at least comprise at least one element among Mn, Ni, and Co; Na; and O as constituent elements. The Na-containing oxide particles have an average particle diameter of 2.0 μm or more. The Na-containing oxide particles have an average aspect ratio of 1.0 or greater and 3.0 or less.

The production apparatus is provided with: a conveying device that conveys a raw material of a cathode active material, the raw material containing a metallic compound and a lithium compound, the metallic compound including at least one metallic element selected from the group consisting of nickel, cobalt, and manganese; and a heating unit in which the raw material is heated, wherein the heating unit has at least one heating member that heats the raw material by heat conduction, the conveying device has a conveying member that conveys the raw material, the heating member heats the raw material via the conveying member, and the conveying member has a retaining part for the raw material of the cathode active material along a side part thereof in a width direction.

摘要: A positive electrode active material includes a core including a first lithium complex metal oxide, and a shell located surrounding the core and including a second lithium complex metal oxide, and further includes a buffer layer located between the core and the shell. The buffer layer includes a pore, and a three-dimensional network structure of a third lithium complex metal oxide which is connecting the core and the shell. Accordingly, the positive electrode active material is capable of enhancing an output property and a life property by minimizing destruction of the active material caused by a rolling process during the electrode preparation, maximizing reactivity with an electrolyte liquid, and by the particles that form the shell having a crystal structure with orientation facilitating lithium ion intercalation and deintercalation.

The lithium supplement includes a component A and a component B; a general chemical formula of the component A is: Li6-xM11-yN1yO4-z, wherein 0≤x≤5.95, 0≤y≤1, 0≤z≤2, M1 is selected from one or a plurality of Fe, Ni, Co, Cu, Al, Mn, Ti, and Si; N1 is selected from one or a plurality of Fe, Ni, Co, Cu, Al, Mn, Ti, and Si; a general chemical formula of the component B is: Li1+(a/(2+a))Mn2a/(2+a)M26/(2+a)−2O2, 0.2≤a≤1; the component B is at least partially located at a surface of the component A. A positive electrode material containing the lithium-supplement agent of the invention has better stability and high theoretical capacity, and is used in a lithium-ion battery to improve the energy density and cycle stability of the battery.

There are cavities inside the stress relief particles, and the cavities are closed structures. The positive electrode material that includes the stress relief particles can be used to effectively tackle a stress and relieve the stress in advance, relieve a strain of the positive electrode material used at a high voltage, avoid ruptures of particles of the positive electrode material, and enhance structural stability of the positive electrode material. The positive electrode material and the electrochemical device having the positive electrode material achieve good high-voltage cycle performance and cycle stability.

The electrolyte improves cycle performance, over-discharge storage performance, and safety performance of the electrochemical apparatus.
