Insertion holes 4 and connector pins 2 that configure a large current charging connector part are disposed in the vicinity of both ends of the power supply connector 1. There are disposed a plug insertion hole 9 and low current charging connector pins 11 that configure a low current charging connector part held between the insertion holes 4 and the connector pins 2.

A conductive component capable of electrically connecting two objects is proposed. The conductive element includes an elastic body that is provided with at least two conductive particles therein. When the conductive component is pressed, a portion of the conductive particles protrudes from the elastic body, thereby forming an electrical connection with external electrical components. In comparison with the prior art, due to the elasticity of the elastic body of the present invention, the conductive component has better elasticity. The conductive particles in the elastic body can protrude from the through holes of the elastic body to connect electrically with the external electrical components. The conductive component of the present invention can assure the efficient electrical connection between the opposing electrical components. The present invention further provides an electrical connector and a chip module that also have the above-mentioned effect.

Provided is an electrical connector having first and second surfaces and configured to establish electrical communication between two or more electrical devices. The electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a resilient, conductive contact retained in an aperture disposed from the first surface to the second surface. To contact the electrical devices, the contact includes a center portion from which extends two diverging, cantilevered spring arms that project beyond either surface of the electrical connector. To shorten the path that current must travel through the contact, one spring arm terminates in a bellows leg that extends proximate to the second spring arm. When placed between the electrical devices, the spring arms are deflected together causing the bellows leg to press against the second spring arm. For retaining the contact within the aperture, the contact also includes retention members extending from the center portion that engage the insulative housing.
