    摘要: A power supply connector is provided, which is applicable to both large current charging and low current charging, the power supply connector being able to not only maintain the accuracy of monitoring low current charging and the volumetric efficiency of a board by appropriately arranging two types of connector parts, but also contribute to the downsizing of the power supply connector and improvement of the reliability thereof by striking a balance between the volumetric efficiency and the heat radiation characteristics, and ensure safety in the use of the power supply connector while reducing the cost. Insertion holes 4 and connector pins 2 that configure a large current charging connector part are disposed in the vicinity of both ends of the power supply connector 1. There are disposed a plug insertion hole 9 and low current charging connector pins 11 that configure a low current charging connector part held between the insertion holes 4 and the connector pins 2.

    摘要: A conductive component capable of electrically connecting two objects is proposed. The conductive element includes an elastic body that is provided with at least two conductive particles therein. When the conductive component is pressed, a portion of the conductive particles protrudes from the elastic body, thereby forming an electrical connection with external electrical components. In comparison with the prior art, due to the elasticity of the elastic body of the present invention, the conductive component has better elasticity. The conductive particles in the elastic body can protrude from the through holes of the elastic body to connect electrically with the external electrical components. The conductive component of the present invention can assure the efficient electrical connection between the opposing electrical components. The present invention further provides an electrical connector and a chip module that also have the above-mentioned effect.

    摘要: A socket connector for connecting a post or ball wherein the female element grips the post with resilient prongs with end tips at low insertion force but positive contact is maintained and wherein attempted withdrawal is normally inhibited by increasing force applied to the post by the female element in response to the withdrawal force. The female element comprises a tube of resilient conductive material that has been sliced or helically partitioned into opposing helical prongs so as to allow the prongs of the connector to spirally open around the post or ball-like bump and mechanically grip the post or bump as the post or bump is inserted along the longitudinal axis of the tube. The tubular element may be made by forming helical prongs in the end of a tube in helical cuts from about a mid section to one end of the tube.

    摘要: Provided is an electrical connector having first and second surfaces and configured to establish electrical communication between two or more electrical devices. The electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a resilient, conductive contact retained in an aperture disposed from the first surface to the second surface. To contact the electrical devices, the contact includes a center portion from which extends two diverging, cantilevered spring arms that project beyond either surface of the electrical connector. To shorten the path that current must travel through the contact, one spring arm terminates in a bellows leg that extends proximate to the second spring arm. When placed between the electrical devices, the spring arms are deflected together causing the bellows leg to press against the second spring arm. For retaining the contact within the aperture, the contact also includes retention members extending from the center portion that engage the insulative housing.

    摘要: An LGA electrical connector (3) includes a housing (2) defining a plurality of passageways (20) therein, and a plurality of terminals (1) received the corresponding passageways. Each passageway comprises a narrow first passage (201) and a broad second passage (202). The first passage has two stepped sidewalls each with a first sidewall (2010) and a second sidewall (2012). A space between the opposite first sidewalls is greater than that between the opposite second sidewalls. Each terminal comprises two retention portions (15). Each retention portion itself is separated, and forms a broad first interference portion (150) and a narrow second interference portion (152). The first interference portion of the terminal interferentially engages with the first sidewall of the passageway. The second interference portion of the terminal interferentially engages with the second sidewall of the passageway. Thus, the terminal can be securely received in the passageway of the housing.

    摘要: A simple structure socket 10 for connecting a ball grid array integrated circuit device to a test circuit has a base 14, contacts 26 arranged corresponding to the ball grid array, a nest assembly 16 of two comb structures 70 and a lever assembly 18 for spacing opposed tip portions of each contact away from each other to define a gap for receiving a ball. The lever assembly has two rectangular frames 86 each made of a distal cross piece 94, a proximal cross piece and two side pieces connecting the distal and proximal cross pieces. The two rectangular frames are arranged so that the side pieces are intersected at substantially mid portions thereof. This allows that, by depressing the proximal cross pieces toward the base, the distal cross pieces forces the comb structures toward each other.
