摘要: A communication system having a circuit board with an airflow opening includes a receptacle cage configured to be mounted to the circuit board adjacent a communication connector. The receptacle cage has walls including a front wall, a rear wall and side walls defining a cavity. A module channel is defined in the cavity configured to receive a pluggable module. The module channel has a module port at the front wall that receives the pluggable module. An airflow channel is defined by at least one of the walls of the receptacle cage located between the module channel and the circuit board. The airflow channel is configured to be in flow communication with the airflow opening in the circuit board for cooling the pluggable module in the module channel. The airflow channel has an airflow port at the front wall.

The upper case includes a flange portion constituting an attachment portion of the lower case, and a connector connecting portion to which a connector is connected. 摘要: A backplane connector includes a housing and a number of wafers assembled to the housing. Each wafer includes a number of conductive terminals, an insulating frame and a metal shield. The housing includes an insulating housing and a metal shell fixed to the insulating housing. The insulating housing includes a number of slots for positioning the wafers. The metal shell is provided with a mating surface and a number of terminal receiving grooves. The contact portions of the conductive terminals are exposed in the corresponding terminal receiving grooves. The present disclosure improves the structural strength of the backplane connector and reduces the risk of damage the mating surface due to the push or collision of a mating connector.

摘要: A backplane connector includes a wafer and a mounting block. The wafer includes a number of conductive terminals, an insulating frame, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. The conductive terminal includes a contact portion, a tail portion and a connection portion. The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The first metal shield includes a first protruding piece. The second metal shield includes a second protruding piece. The mounting block includes a slot for passing through the tail portions of the differential signal terminals. The first protruding piece and the second protruding piece are at least partially inserted into the slot. This arrangement can provide better shielding adjacent to the tail portions of the differential signal terminals, reduce crosstalk, and improve the quality of signal transmission.

摘要: A high density coupling panel of the present disclosure presents a compact grouping of coupler wherein each of the couplers couples a first free connector with a second free connector wherein each of the free connectors is coupled to exactly two electrical conductors. The high density coupling panel can be manufactured in a shielded (e.g., metal) or non-shielded (e.g. non-metal) form as appropriate to a specific application. In the shielded configuration, a bonding strip is used to connect all metal components (e.g., shielded free connectors, shielded couplers, and metal panel of the high density coupling panel) to ground via a shielding tab.

摘要: A replaceable socket device includes adapters and a base. Each of the adapters include a jack and contacts disposed on a bottom of the adapters. The base includes sockets, an adapting interface disposed on the socket, and a coupling interface coupled to the adapting interface and an external power source. Each socket includes a bottom surface and a sidewall perpendicularly connected to the bottom surface. One of the adapters inserts in the socket via an opening formed by the bottom surface and the sidewall. The adapting interface is utilized to connect the socket and one of the adapters. The coupling interface is configured to conduct electrical signal from the external power source to the adapting interface. The structure of the adapting interface is used for allowing one of adapters to couple to the socket via the adapting interface. The adapting interface is lower than the bottom surface of the socket.

摘要: A backplane connector assembly includes a first backplane connector and a second backplane connector. The first backplane connector includes a number of first conductive terminals, a first insulating frame, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. The first metal shield includes a first elastic piece, and the second metal shield includes a second elastic piece. The second backplane connector includes a number of second differential signal terminals, an insulating block sleeved on the second differential signal terminals, and a metal shell sleeved on the insulating block. When the first backplane connector is mated with the second backplane connector, the first elastic piece and the second elastic piece are in contact with the metal shell to increase the grounding shielding area, reduce crosstalk and improve the quality of signal transmission.
