    Abstract: A mount plate includes a mount plate housing for coupling an audiovisual device with a battery. A power terminal in the mount plate housing provides electrical power to the audiovisual device. A hot wire connected with the power terminal extends from the mount plate housing. The hot wire is configured to connect with a corresponding hot wire of the audiovisual device. A ground wire extending from the mount plate housing is configured to be connected with a corresponding ground wire of the audiovisual device. A first insulation piercing interconnect is connected with the hot wire. The first insulation piercing interconnect is configured to connect the hot wire with the corresponding hot wire of the audiovisual device. A second insulation piercing interconnect is connected with the ground wire. The second insulation piercing interconnect is configured to connect the ground wire with the corresponding ground wire of the audiovisual device.

    Abstract: A connector, with which an electrical wire is attachable, is connectable with a mating connector which has a mating contact portion. The connector comprises a housing and at least one terminal. The housing is provided with a support. The support has a receiving portion. The receiving portion is configured to receive a part of the electrical wire. The at least one terminal has an insulation displacement connection (IDC) portion, a contact portion, a supporting portion and a coupling portion. The IDC portion is configured to be insulation-displacement connected with the electrical wire. The support is positioned between the IDC portion and the supporting portion in a first predetermined direction. The coupling portion couples the IDC portion and the supporting portion with each other. The coupling portion has a neighboring portion. The neighboring portion neighbors to the support in a second predetermined direction perpendicular to the first predetermined direction.

    Abstract: Provided is a connector configured to sufficiently prevent foreign matter from entering from outside by controlling the surface pressure of the fillers. The connector (10) according to the present disclosure includes a pair of a first fitting object (16) and a second fitting object (30) capable of being fitted together; fillers (70) provided in the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30), respectively; and a pressing portion provided, in a protruding manner, to an inner surface of at least one of the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30). The pressing portion presses a corresponding one of the fillers toward the other one of the fillers provided in the other fitting object when the first fitting object (16) and the second fitting object (30) are fitted together.

    Abstract: A plug-type connector for connecting a cable with at least one wire to a respective plug contact includes a first housing part, a connection block and a second housing part. A hinge connection allows the second housing part to pivot out of a first position into a second position towards the first housing part. In the first position the wire can be inserted into a wire channel of the connection block and, in the second position, the second housing part presses the connection block against the insulation displacement contact. The second housing part can move into a third position in which the connection block is fully pressed onto the insulation displacement contact. The hinge connection allows an insertion movement from the second into the third position such that the second housing part inserts the wire into the insulation displacement contact in an exclusively translatory manner.
