摘要: A system includes a first frame for mounting to the aircraft; a second frame for mounting the proprotor, the second frame being rotatably mounted to the first frame; a first gear located along the rotation axis of the second frame and fixed in position relative to the first frame; a pinion that moves with the second frame and engages the first gear such that the pinion revolves around the first gear, causing the pinion to rotate; a cam that is fixedly connected to the pinion such that the cam rotates with the pinion; and a control rod operatively coupled at a first end with the cam such that rotation of the cam can cause translation of the control rod, wherein the control rod can be coupled at a second end to the blades of the proprotor such that translation of the control rod alters the pitch of the blades.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a rotor assembly for an electric machine. The rotor assembly comprises a rotating shaft, a rotor and a fluid cooling system. The rotor is fixed to the rotating shaft. The rotor comprises a rotor core, a first end plate and a second end plate. The first end plate is provided at a first axial end of the rotor core. The second end plate is provided at a second axial end of the rotor core. The fluid cooling system comprises at least one fluid cooling pathway provided internally in the rotor. The at least one fluid cooling pathway is configured to guide cooling fluid through the rotor, and comprises at least one cooling channel and a downstream end plate channel. The at least one cooling channel extends through the rotor core from the first axial end to the second axial end. The downstream end plate channel is fluidically connected to a downstream end of the at least one cooling channel. The downstream end plate channel is restricted radially outwards by a radially outer wall portion. The at least one cooling channel is restricted radially inwards by a radially inner wall portion. A radially innermost position of the radially outer wall portion is arranged in a range about or at or radially inwards of a radially innermost position of a radially inner wall portion.

摘要: A rotor for an electric machine includes at least one inner sheet package arranged on a rotor shaft defining a rotor longitudinal axis and buried magnets arranged radially around the at least one inner sheet package, which are arranged in a radial direction between the inner sheet package and correspondingly arranged outer sheet packages and fixed by a casting compound. The rotor further includes a plurality of surface magnets arranged on the outer sheet packages, each surface magnet forming a rotor pole in conjunction with a respective one of the outer sheet packages on which it is arranged and at least one of the buried magnets. At least one cooling channel extending along the rotor longitudinal axis is arranged in at least one of the inner or outer sheet packages and is sealed by a casting compound in a medium-tight manner.

A total length of inner circumferential surface lengths of branched ventilation paths in a cross section perpendicular to a penetration direction of the ventilation path is longer than an inner circumferential surface length of an unbranched ventilation path in the cross section perpendicular to the penetration direction.

The electric engine may include a hydrodynamic bearing located between the main shaft and sun gear, and a bearing including an inner race mechanically coupled to the main shaft and an outer race mechanically coupled to the rotor. The electric engine may include a bearing including an outer race mechanically coupled to an inner surface of the rotor.

摘要: An electric propulsion system for a vertical takeoff-and-landing aircraft having an inverter assembly, a gearbox assembly, an electric motor assembly. The inverter assembly, the gearbox assembly, and the electric motor assembly may be substantially aligned along an axis. The inverter assembly, a gearbox assembly, and electric motor assembly may each abut at least one of the others. The electric engine may use a liquid, such as oil, for cooling and lubricating components of the inverter assembly, gearbox assembly, and electric motor assembly. Further, the electric engine may use volumes of oil for cooling and lubricating components below a threshold volume so that the electric engines do not require a fire protective barrier.

The spray disc body comprises a first spray outlet and a second spray outlet, provided at or near the outer radius of the spray disc body and a spray disc conduit network, providing a fluid flow path between the inner radius of the spray disc body and the first and second spray outlets through the spray disc body, wherein the first spray outlet is axially offset from the second spray outlet. As such, a larger surface area of stator windings may be sprayed.
