摘要: An electric drive device includes an electric motor and a speed reducer. The electric motor includes a rotor, a stator, an electrical power converter and a motor housing. The electrical power converter is electrically connected to stator windings of the stator and is configured to supply an electric current to the stator windings. The motor housing receives the rotor, the stator and the electrical power converter. The speed reducer includes: a motor-side rotatable body that is coupled to a shaft of the rotor; and a drive-side rotatable body. The speed reducer is configured to reduce a rotational speed of the drive-side rotatable body relative to a rotational speed of the motor-side rotatable body. The motor housing and the speed reducer are integrally formed together.

摘要: An apparatus for facilitating propulsion of a vehicle. The apparatus comprises a housing with an interior space, an inlet, and an outlet, a propulsion mechanism, and a gimbal. The propulsion mechanism is disposed in the interior space and comprises and an upper rotor and a lower rotor rotatably mounted on a first portion and a second portion of a spindle. The upper rotor rotates in a first direction and the lower rotor rotates in a second direction opposite to the first direction. Upper rotor blades have a first blade pitch and lower rotor blades have a second blade pitch opposite to the first blade pitch. The rotating of the upper rotor and the lower rotor creates a fluid flow from the inlet to the outlet for generating a directional thrust. The gimbal rotatably attaches the propulsion mechanism to the housing. The housing is rotatable for vectoring the directional thrust.

摘要: A stand-alone motor unit for use with a piece of power equipment includes a housing and a flange coupled to the housing on a first side thereof. A plurality of apertures through the flange defines a first bolt pattern that matches an identical, second bolt pattern defined in the piece of power equipment. An electric motor has a power output of at least about 2760 W. The motor includes a stator having a nominal outer diameter of up to about 80 mm and a rotor supported for rotation within the stator. A power take-off shaft receives torque from the rotor and protrudes from one of the flange or a second side of the housing. A controller is positioned within the housing and electrically connected to the motor. A battery pack for powering the motor has battery cells having a nominal voltage of up to about 80 V.

摘要: A vehicle drive device includes a rotating electrical machine, transmission mechanism, and inverter device. The rotating electrical machine and a pair of output members have a two-axis configuration. The transmission mechanism includes, coaxially with the output members, an output gear drivingly connected to the output members. A first output member is between the rotating electrical machine and inverter device horizontally in an up-down direction where both the rotating electrical machine and inverter device are disposed. The output gear overlaps each rotating electrical machine and inverter device as viewed in an axial direction. The inverter device is on the opposite side of the first output member from the rotating electrical machine and above the first output member. A case includes a peripheral wall portion that separates the first output member and the inverter device from each other. The peripheral wall portion overlaps the output gear as viewed in the axial direction.

摘要: An electric motor assembly and a rotor for an electric motor are provided. A rotor includes a yoke, and a plurality of magnets held by the yoke. The yoke is formed from a plurality of laminations. The yoke includes an inner peripheral surface surrounding a cavity. The inner peripheral surface has a plurality of rectangular cut-out sections that are each configured to receive a respective magnet of the plurality of magnets. The inner peripheral surface further includes a protrusion extending toward the cavity, and each protrusion having a flat surface facing the cavity.

One example provides a drive unit for an electric vehicle that comprises a drive unit housing defining a form factor having a volume of less than 27,000 cm3, an electric motor comprising a rotor, a stator and a rotor shaft and an electric inverter in electrical communication with the electric motor. Both the electric motor and the electric inverter are housed within the drive unit housing and the drive unit provides a continuous power density of greater than 5 kW/kg.

摘要: Food waste disposer systems and related systems for coupling food waste disposer systems to electrical power sources, and related coupling and configuration methods, are disclosed herein. In at least one example embodiment, a food waste disposer system includes a motor, a switch module, a housing, and an appliance inlet power cord connection structure supported at least indirectly upon the housing, where the connection structure is either connected to or integrally formed with the switch module. Further, the food waste disposer system also includes a power cord including a first end with a first plug and a second end with a second plug, where the first plug is configured to be coupled to the connection structure. Additionally, the food waste disposer includes an adapter or first lead wires that are coupled at least indirectly to the connection structure.
