    Abstract: A device for positioning the ends of at least first pair of legs of hairpin conductors extending from a stator core with respect to a welder tool includes a first clamping element and a second clamping element that are independently moveable radially. The first clamping element has a first clamping surface and said second clamping element has a second clamping surface, wherein the clamping surfaces radially face each other. The clamping elements form a first radially inner receiving section between the first clamping surface and the second clamping surface, having a first radial width dimensioned to axially receive and clamp a first pair of legs during welding, and a second radially outer receiving section inside the first and second clamping elements, having a second radial width dimensioned to receive at least a further pair of legs during welding of the first pair of legs.

    Abstract: Methods for repairing electric machines, such as wind generators, and stators implemented thereof. One method includes replacing a first stator core with a second stator core, wherein the second stator core has fewer stator slots than the first stator core, and wherein the stator slots are configured to receive coil windings. The method includes increasing a number of coil turns forming each coil winding from a first value to a second value, wherein the first value is associated with the first stator core and the second value is associated with the second stator core. The electric machine with the second stator core has rated power output at least as high as the electric machine with the first stator core.

    Abstract: A rotor of an aircraft electric motor includes a shaft made of a first material, and a skin made of a second material different from the first material. The skin includes two half-shells welded together, each half-shell of the two half-shells including a chamfer, and the chamfers assembling the two half-shells together. The shaft includes a shoulder portion the skin being fixed on the shoulder portion. The rotor further includes an interpenetration layer of the first material and of the second material, the interpenetration layer including an alloy of the first material and an alloy of the second material, the interpenetration layer being between the shaft and the skin.
