    Abstract: A brushless electric machine, in particular a brushless DC motor, has a stator and a rotor arranged within the stator so as to be rotatable relative thereto. The rotor has a cylindrical base body which is non-rotatably connected to a machine shaft and carries a plurality of permanent magnets on its outer circumference, and the stator has a stator winding with a plurality of single-tooth windings for driving the rotor via an electrically generated magnetic field. The permanent magnets of the rotor are fixed by a thin-walled reinforcement radially surrounding them, wherein the reinforcement is connected to the permanent magnets by a plurality of welding points in a materially and/or positively locking manner.

    Abstract: An example electrical machine is described that includes active segments for variable voltage generation. The electrical machine includes a drive shaft, a fixed rotor segment, an active rotor segment, and an actuator mechanism. The fixed rotor segment is coupled to the drive shaft, where the fixed rotor segment has affixed thereon first permanent magnets of alternating polarity. The active rotor segment axially is adjacent to the fixed rotor segment along the drive shaft. The active rotor segment also has affixed thereon second permanent magnets of alternating polarity. The actuator mechanism is configured to articulate the active rotor segment relative to the fixed rotor segment and thereby alter a phase of the second permanent magnets relative to the first permanent magnets in order to change a first voltage generated by the electrical machine to a second voltage generated by the electrical machine.

    Abstract: In a motor device, a case includes a total of three first insertion holes through which fixing male screws fixing the case to a bracket are respectively inserted, and a total of three second insertion holes through which fixing bolts fixing the bracket to an electric brake device are respectively inserted. The bracket has a total of three female screw members into which the fixing male screws are respectively screwed, and insertion holes of a total of three collars through which the fixing bolts are respectively inserted. The total of three second insertion holes and the insertion holes of the total of three collars respectively include round holes that are arranged on an axis with each other and position the case with respect to the bracket.

    Abstract: A synchronous-reluctance, rotary motor-generator having a rotor, a stator, a radial air gap positioned radially between the stator and the rotor, and a conductor winding assembly. The rotor has an even number of crescent rotor poles with a gap between adjacent crescent rotor poles. Each crescent rotor pole is non-symmetric about a radially-oriented centerline of the rotor ferromagnetic flux path. Each low-reluctance direct axis of the rotor passes through at least one of the gaps between the crescent rotor poles. Each crescent rotor pole is positioned tangentially to the radial air gap. The stator is on a common center with the rotor. The stator has a stator salient pole between each coil winding slot and positioned tangentially to the radial air gap.     Abstract: In a rotor of a motor or the like, in order to suppress scattering of a part of a magnet provided around a rotating shaft, the rotor has a cylindrical magnet through which the rotating shaft passes, a first holder which covers the magnet from one side in an axial direction of the rotating shaft and a second holder which covers the magnet from the other side in the axial direction. The magnet is press-fitted into a first body portion of the first holder and a second body portion of the second holder, and a first end of the first body portion and a second end of the second body portion are joined by welding or the like. An inner diameter of the first end and the inner diameter of the second end are larger than an outer diameter of the magnet.
