The step and the brush holder receive a cover plate which, when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the face of the brush holder, covers a winding of the coil shaped coil spring. One end of the support post is fixed to the surface of the cover plate by spreading the end of the hollow cylinder of the support post.

摘要： A motor vehicle has road wheels driven by a direct current motor that has a brush installed therein. A system for detecting abrasion of the brush comprises a clutch arranged between the road wheel and the direct current motor. The clutch is of a wet type so that in ON condition thereof, drive and driven members thereof are engaged with each other causing transmission of a torque of the motor to the road wheel and in OFF condition thereof, the drive and driven members thereof are disengaged from each other permitting a certain but small transmission of a torque of the road wheels toward the motor due to a viscosity possessed by oil in the clutch. A rotation speed sensor is provided that detects a rotation speed of the motor. A control unit is provided that issues a brush abrasion representing signal based on the rotation speed of the motor detected under OFF condition of the clutch.

摘要： A back cover for a motor includes a shell body, two carbon brush holders and two covering caps. The shell body has two receiving holes cut through inside and outside walls thereof. The carbon brush holders are respectively mounted in the shell body for holding a respective carbon brush bar in the receiving holes. The two carbon brush holders each have a mounting plate located in one of the receiving holes, and a spring supported on the mounting plate for forcing the carbon brush bar toward an inside of the shell body. The covering caps are respectively mounted on the outside wall of the shell body to cover the receiving holes respectively.

摘要： Each brush holder is formed by bending a holder material made of a metal plate, so that the brush holder is shaped into a generally rectangular tubular body, which includes opposed first and second lateral walls, a top wall and a base wall. A base plate includes holder limiting grooves. Each brush holder is received in a corresponding one of the limiting grooves. The limiting groove limits an increase in a space between the first lateral wall and the second lateral wall of the corresponding brush holder. Furthermore, each brush is received in a corresponding one of the brush holders in a slidable manner in a sliding direction toward and away from a commutator of a motor.

摘要： A rotary current-collecting device includes a rotary slip ring and brushes coming into sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface of the slip ring. The brush-holding ring has an inner surface to which three brush-holding springs are fixed by screws. Each of the brushes is fixed to the tip end of the brush-holding spring and is pushed against the outer surface of the slip ring under the resilient restoration force of the brush-holding spring. When the slip ring revolves, the brushes come into sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface of the slip ring. The brush is made of a metal-graphite compound consisting of 70 weight percent copper and 30 weight percent graphite. The slip ring is entirely made of glassy carbon, so that the brush abrasion can be reduced.

摘要： An object of the invention is to improve a layout property of members arranged on the brush holder. Power feeding terminals are formed in a flat shape extending in an axial direction of an armature shaft, and the power feeding terminal is arranged side by side in a width direction with respect to the power feeding terminal in one end portion of a brush holder. A condenser is provided between the power feeding terminals and the armature shaft. Further, a power supply circuit for electrically connecting the power feeding terminals to a leaf spring brush is electrically connected to a motor housing via a grounding stay, and a choke coil for reducing a noise generated in the power supply circuit is arranged so as to be lapped over a screw member fixing the leaf spring brush to the brush holder in the axial direction of the armature shaft.
