摘要: Apparatus, method(s), and system(s) according to which electric power is generated in one or more coils by rotating a magnetic field generated by one or more permanent magnets. The one or more coils are connected to a collar. The collar is positioned downhole in an oil and gas wellbore. The one or more permanent magnets are connected to a rotor positioned within an internal passageway of the collar. A fluid is communicated along the internal passageway of the collar. The rotor, and thus the magnetic field generated by the one or more permanent magnets, are rotated using the fluid communicated along the internal passage.

摘要: A device including a microcontroller and an antenna for capturing power during one or more energy harvesting cycles. The power is transferred to a power storage of the device such that when the power storage has an amount of power the microcontroller performs processing for tracking a location and a condition a package to which the device is attached. The device further includes a transmitter that uses instructions from said microcontroller and said captured power from said one or more energy harvesting cycles. The transmitter is configured to communicate over a network the location and the condition of the package to a remote compute. When the device and package move along one or more geolocations, said device uses said one or more energy harvesting cycles to communicate to the remote compute updates for said location and condition of the package.

摘要: A unique, environmentally-friendly micron scale autonomous electrical power source is provided for generating renewable energy, or a renewable energy supplement, in electronic systems, electronic devices and electronic system components. The autonomous electrical power source includes a first conductor with a facing surface conditioned to have a low work function, a second conductor with a facing surface having a comparatively higher work function, and a dielectric layer of not more than 200 Angstroms in thickness sandwiched between the respective facing surfaces of the first conductor and the second conductor. The autonomous electrical power source is configured to harvest minimal thermal energy from any source in an environment above absolute zero. An autonomous electrical power source component is also provided that includes a plurality of autonomous electrical power source constituent elements electrically connected to one another to increase a power output of the autonomous electrical power source.

摘要: A method and system of generating electrical power or hydrogen from thermal energy is disclosed. The method includes separating, by a selectively permeable membrane, a first saline solution from a second saline solution, receiving, by the first saline solution and/or the second saline solution, thermal energy from a heat source, and mixing the first saline solution and the second saline solution in a controlled manner, capturing at least some salinity-gradient energy as electrical power as the salinity difference between the first saline solution and the second saline solution decreases. The method further includes transferring, by a heat pump, thermal energy from the first saline solution to the second saline solution, causing the salinity difference between the first saline solution and the second saline solution to increase. The method may include a process of membrane distillation, forward osmosis, evaporation, electrodialysis, and/or salt decomposition for further energy efficiency and power generation.

摘要: A magnetic multi-pole propulsion array system is applied to at least one external cathode and includes a plurality of magnetic multi-pole thrusters connected adjacent to each other. Each magnetic multi-pole thruster includes a propellant provider, a discharge chamber, an anode and a plurality of magnetic components. The propellant provider outputs propellant. The discharge chamber is connected with the propellant provider to accommodate the propellant. The anode is disposed inside the discharge chamber to generate an electric field. The plurality of magnetic components is respectively disposed on several sides of the discharge chamber. One of the several sides of the discharge chamber of the magnetic multi-pole thruster is applied for one side of a discharge chamber of another magnetic multi-pole thruster.

The system includes a mesh-based fog harvester for accumulating water droplets from atmospheric moisture. A droplet distributor receives accumulated water droplets from the mesh-based fog harvester. A droplet electrical generator harvests energy from the water droplets accumulated in the droplet distributor. The droplet electrical generator includes an electret surface for receiving the water droplets from the droplet distributor and at least two electrodes. A water reservoir receives water droplets from the droplet electrical generator.
