摘要: A driving circuit drives a stepping motor in synchronization with an input clock using a 2-phase excitation method. A constant current chopper circuit generates a pulse modulation signal such that the detection value of the coil current approaches a current setting value. A detection window generation circuit generates a detection window. The detection window becomes an open state at a timing at which the coil current IOUT becomes smaller than a predetermined threshold value. A logic circuit sets a full-bridge circuit to a high-impedance state when the detection window is in the open state and controls the full-bridge circuit according to the pulse modulation signal when the detection window is in the closed state. In the open state of the detection window, a back electromotive force (BEMF) detection circuit detects the BEMF of the coil. A current value setting circuit controls a current setting value based on the BEMF.

摘要: A motor control system and method for controlling a brushed direct current (BDC) motor using a feedback loop based on a corrected ripple count. Motor control circuitry, for example implemented in digital logic such as a microcontroller, receives a coil current signal and a motor voltage signal. Discontinuities in the coil current signal, such as caused by commutation of the BDC motor, are counted to generate a ripple count. An observer function derives an angular frequency model estimate for the values of the coil current and motor voltage signals using a computational model for the motor. A corrected ripple count is generated based on a comparison of a commutation angle of the motor with an angular position based on the angular frequency model estimate over a time interval between discontinuity pulses. A motor drive signal is adjusted based on the corrected ripple count.

摘要: A motor inverter is provided. The motor inverter is coupled to an input power source and a motor and controls the mechanical switch to receive or turn off the input power source. The motor inverter includes primary and secondary auxiliary circuits, a microprocessor, a gate driver, and a motor drive circuit. The primary and secondary auxiliary circuits are coupled to the input power source and outputs first and second output voltages respectively. The microprocessor operates the driving switches of the motor drive circuit through the gate driver to switch the input power source for driving the motor. If the microprocessor determines that the first output voltage is abnormal and the motor rotational speed exceeds a safe speed limit, the microprocessor controls the driving switches to form an active short circuit for stopping the motor, and the microprocessor turns off the mechanical switch for protecting the input power source.

摘要: An electronic motor drive for powering permanent magnet air core synchronous motors having sinusoidal back emf includes a switchmode power converter coupled to a connection of an input power supply. The power converter converts power from the input power supply with a current-mode control output and regulates current to a variable voltage link that supplies the regulated current to a non-modulating commutation inverter that energizes multi-phase air core armature windings of the air core motor. The motor drive employs 6-step position sensorless commutation exciting only two phase legs at a time controlled through measurement of the back emf. The switchmode power converter includes a low pass inductance and capacitance filter ahead of a power supply of the commutation inverter. The regulated current is switched at a regulation frequency high enough to preclude significant switching-induced harmonic ripple currents to the air core armature windings.

The change in the behaviour of at least one first and one second operational parameter, independently from each other, of the pump, is determined. A determination of the flow through the pump and/or the difference in pressure across the pump and/or the viscosity of the blood takes into account the determined change in behaviour of the at least two operational parameters. A modelling for a dynamic model of the known quantities may be carried out and an estimation method using a Kalman filter may be used.

The operation further includes a motor controller determining an error value between the desired speed signal and the monitored speed and determining a conduction angle signal based on the error value. The operation also includes the motor controller determining whether the conduction angle signal is greater than the error value and increasing a conduction angle of the power tool motor in response to the conduction angle signal being determined to be greater than the error value.

摘要: A method includes driving a selected motor winding to be in a tri-state during a time interval having a finite time length value of a time window, sensing a zero-crossing (ZC) of an oscillating back electromotive force induced in the motor winding during the time window in which the motor winding is in the tri-state, and producing a ZC sensing signal, which has a first edge at a first time instant at the sensed ZC and a second edge at a second time instant separated from the first time instant by a half oscillation of the oscillating back electromotive force, detecting a phase of a current flowing in the motor winding at a time instant time-shifted with respect to the second time instant of the second edge of the ZC sensing signal, and adjusting the finite time length value based on the detected phase of the current.

摘要: A motor unit having a motor having a stator and an armature, the armature being arranged for relative driven motion with respect to the stator. A motor control unit has a supply circuit for providing a supply voltage at the motor to provide a set power level to the motor for driving the armature into motion. A measurement circuit is measuring a value of a physical variable indicative of a current flow through the motor, The motor control unit is arranged to interrupt the provision of the supply voltage by the supply circuit and to dynamically brake the motor during a braking time interval and further to measure the value of the physical variable during the braking time interval. The motor control unit is further arranged to compare the measured value of the physical variable with a target value that depends on the supplied power level and on an intended motion amplitude of the armature, to determine a new set power level in dependence on the comparison result and to subsequently provide the new set power level to the motor.
