摘要: A method for phase-voltage based motor period measurement includes generating a commanded phase voltage and applying the commanded phase voltage to a first phase voltage input of an electric motor, a second phase voltage input of the electric motor, and a third phase voltage input of the electric motor, measuring a first period of a phase voltage associated with the first phase voltage input and the second phase voltage input and comparing the measured first period to a frequency of the commanded phase voltage, and, in response to a determination that the measured first period of the phase voltage associated with the first phase voltage input and the second phase voltage input is outside of a range of the frequency associated with the commanded phase voltage, identifying a fault associated with the first integrated circuit or signal path.

摘要: According to some embodiments, method for controlling a motor comprises generating a drive signal for the motor, the drive signal comprising a demand flux generating voltage parameter. A feedback torque generating current parameter and a feedback flux generating current parameter are determined based on a three-phase motor current measurement. A feedback flux generating voltage parameter is determined based on the feedback torque generating current parameter and the feedback flux generating current parameter. An estimated motor position and an estimated motor speed are determined based on the feedback flux generating voltage parameter and the demand flux generating voltage parameter. The drive signal is generated based on the estimated motor position and the estimated motor speed.

摘要: Provided is a motor control device having a function for determining a rotor position of a synchronous motor, without use of a sensor, the device prevents obtaining an erroneous rotor position, to enable stable control of the synchronous motor based on the rotor position in both the normal-control region and the flux-weakening-control region. The motor control device 1 includes: a first rotor position determining unit 19 that determines a rotor position of the synchronous motor 2 based on a current electrical angle, and a first current phase obtained from a current peak value and a difference between an induced voltage electrical angle and a current electrical angle; a second rotor position determining unit 20 that determines the rotor position of the synchronous motor 2 based on the current electrical angle, and a second current phase obtained from a flux linkage and the current peak value; and a selecting unit 21 that selects the first rotor position determining unit 19 or the second rotor position determining unit 20, based on the current peak value, and the first current phase or the second current phase.

摘要: Implementations of a system for sensing rotor position of a PMSM may include: a controller which may be coupled with the PMSM. The controller may be configured to apply a plurality of voltage vectors to the PMSM to generate a plurality of sensing signals from a stator of the PMSM in response. A comparator may be coupled to the PMSM configured to receive and to compare each one of the plurality of sensing signals with a threshold voltage. A rise time measurement circuit may calculate a plurality of rise times using the plurality of sensing signals in response to receiving a signal from the comparator. The rotor-angle estimation circuit may be configured to identify from the plurality of rise times a shortest rise time and a voltage vector corresponding with the shortest rise time and thereby identify the position of the rotor of the PMSM.

The method comprises supplying a first excitation signal to the electric motor, determining a first response signal generated in the motor in response to the first excitation signal, determining, based on the first response signal, an electrical angle of a direct axis of the motor with respect to a stationary reference frame, supplying a second excitation signal to the motor, wherein the second excitation signal is based on the determined electrical angle, determining a second response signal generated in the motor in response to the second excitation signal, and determining the rotor position based on the second response signal.
