摘要: Network devices and associated methods are provided for synchronization in an optically switched network. The network device includes one or more ports in communication with a plurality of devices via an optical switch. The one or more ports receive a master clock signal having a first frequency from a first device of the plurality of devices. The network device includes a local clock in communication with the one or more ports and operating at a second frequency. The network device includes a synchronization manager in communication with the one or more ports and the local clock and configured to be enabled and disabled. When the synchronization manager is enabled, it receives the master clock signal via the one or more ports and transmits an instruction to the local clock to operate at the first frequency.

The network system includes multiple stages of networking units that are cascaded, and each of the multiple stages of networking units includes multiple optical ports. The information backhaul method includes: acquiring cascade information of a networking unit in a current stage, where the cascade information of the networking unit in the current stage includes optical port information and identification information of the networking unit in the current stage; and feeding back the cascade information of the networking unit in the current stage. Further provided are a data allocation method, a networking unit, a data allocation controller, a network system and a computer-readable storage medium.

A customer premises component (CPE) can comprise a customer premises mobile broadband to steerable fiber component (CPC) comprising a baseband control unit, a user-plane function component, and a fiber path selection component that can enable configuration of a cellular frontend facing a user equipment (UE) and configuration of a fiber backend facing other endpoint devices. The CPC can receive information pertinent to the configuring the frontend/backend from a network management component, a carrier network component, and internet component, etc. The CPC can automatically adapt configuration of the frontend/backend to selectively enable traffic to flow between the UE and another endpoint device.

摘要: Digital information can be carried on the fiber leg of an access network using binary modulation. Binary modulated data received at an O/E node can then be modulated onto an analog waveform using quadrature amplitude modulation or some other technique for modulating an analog waveform and transmitted over, for example, the coaxial leg of the network. The O/E node may also receive an analog signal, over the coaxial leg, modulated to carry upstream data from subscriber devices. The O/E node may demodulate the upstream signal to recover the upstream data and forward that upstream data over the fiber leg using a binary modulated optical signal.

摘要: A transport domain orchestrator (TDO) in a 5G network provides for dynamic configuration of a transport network resource (e.g., ports) and of a corresponding set of VLAN IDs to support a 5G service within a corresponding passive optical network (PON) transport network slice. The TDO, in response to a query in connection with establishing the 5G service, determines PON ports available in the PON to support the 5G service within the corresponding PON transport network slice; allocates the transport network resource for the corresponding PON transport network slice; determines the corresponding set of VLAN IDs for the 5G service, in which the corresponding set of VLAN IDs map the 5G service to the corresponding PON transport network slice and to the set of PON ports; and configures the PON to support the 5G service in the corresponding PON transport network slice, identified by the corresponding set of VLAN IDs.

摘要: A system for sensing an environmental parameter at a cell site of a cellular communication network and transporting corresponding data over an operations and maintenance (“O&M”) channel of the cellular communication network comprises a remote radio head and a sensor operably coupled to the remote radio head to receive electrical power from the remote radio head and transmit sensor data corresponding to the environmental parameter to the remote radio head. The sensor is operable to use at least some of the electrical power to generate the sensor data and is operable to use at least some of the electrical power to transmit the sensor data to the remote radio head. The remote radio head is operable to provide the electrical power to the sensor, is operable to receive the sensor data, and is operable to transmit operations and maintenance data and the sensor data over the O&M channel.

摘要: A wireless communication method in a wireless communication system including an accommodation station device and a base station device that performs beam formation according to control of the accommodation station device, includes: transmitting an optical modulation signal generated by performing intensity modulation on an optical signal on the basis of a transmission signal to be transmitted to the base station device via an optical transmission line by the accommodation station device controlling any combination of a light wavelength, a frequency, or an optical polarized wave, or a plurality of frequencies or a plurality of light wavelengths, to perform beamforming control of the base station device; transmitting the optical modulation signal after dispersion compensation is performed in an electrical domain or an optical domain in the accommodation station device or performing dispersion compensation on the optical modulation signal on the optical transmission line; and inputting, by the base station device, an electrical signal based on the dispersion-compensated optical modulation signal to a beamforming circuit having a plurality of input ports to perform beam formation in a direction corresponding to an input port to which the electrical signal is input.
