Abstract: A ceiling fan or similar air-moving device can include a motor for rotating one or more blades to drive a volume of air about a space. A connector can be used to connect the blade to a blade iron to mount the blade to the motor. The connector can include a set of receptacles configured to insert into openings on the blade, with the set of receptacles connected by a set of arms. A set of mount posts on the blade iron can seat within the receptacles to mount the blade to the blade iron.

Abstract: In one implementation, load balancing within a constellation of communications satellites is performed. Anticipated positions of satellites are determined. Each satellite is configured to provide multiple beams that define a coverage footprint for the satellite. Based on the anticipated positions of the satellites, it is determined that a first coverage footprint for a first satellite provides primary coverage of a high traffic region and portions of the first coverage footprint for the first satellite also will be covered by coverage footprints for other satellites, Based on these determinations, a beam assignments are defined in which a first subset of beams of the first satellite configured to provide coverage of a first portion of the first coverage footprint are inactive and a second subset of beams of the second satellite are active. The second subset of beams of the second satellite provide coverage within the first portion of the first coverage footprint.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method for transmitting data, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: a first terminal device receives indication information transmitted by a network device, where the indication information is for indicating a transmission band for transmitting the data; the first terminal device determines a numerology for transmitting the data according to the transmission band; the first terminal device transmits the data to the network device or receives the data transmitted by the network device on the transmission band according to the numerology. Therefore, the method, the terminal device, and the network device according to the present disclosure can achieve, with different numerologies, scheduling of data transmissions that are based on different transmission bands, thereby increasing flexibility of control signaling design. Furthermore, downlink signaling overhead can be saved.

Abstract: Provided is a wireless communication apparatus wherein channel estimation accuracy is improved while keeping the position of each bit in a frame, even when a modulation system having a large modulation multiple value is used for a data symbol. In the wireless communication apparatus, an encoding section encodes and outputs transmitting data to a bit converting section, and the bit converting section converts at least one bit of a plurality of bits constituting a data symbol to be used for channel estimation, among the encoded bit strings, into ‘1’ or ‘0’ and outputs it to a modulating section. The modulating section modulates the bit string inputted from the bit converting section by using a single modulation mapper and a plurality of data symbols are generated.
