Abstract: In accordance with some aspects, a method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The method includes monitoring for beam failure detection (BFD) reference signals (RSs) for a group of beams of a serving cell, the group of beams associated with a group beam identifier; measuring, based on the monitoring for the BFD RSs, a reference signal received power (RSRP) of one or more of the BFD RSs; and triggering, based on the RSRP being below a threshold, a beam failure recovery (BFR) process for the group of beams.

Abstract: A method for measuring and feeding back channel state information and a device is provided. The method includes: sending, by a first network side device, channel state information (CSI) measurement configuration information to user equipment, where the CSI measurement configuration information includes coordination indication information indicating that the first network side device and at least one second network side device are in a coordination relationship, receiving, by the user equipment, the CSI measurement configuration information from the first network side device, performing measurement based on the CSI measurement configuration information, and feeding back at least one group of CSI to the first network side device based on the measurement configuration information. Accuracy of fed back content and further facilitating scheduling of a base station is improved.

Abstract: An antenna system having an antenna array including at least first and second phased array antennas, and a method for field-calibrating the antenna array. Before and after a handover period, communication with respective first and second external satellites or other communication systems is performed using both the first and second antennas. A first beam is formed prior to the handover period. During a first portion of the handover period: a second beam is formed for the communication with the first satellite using the first antenna; the second antenna is deactivated for external communication; and the second antenna is calibrated. During a second portion of the handover period, the second antenna is reactivated for a handed over communication with the second satellite by forming a third beam using the second antenna, while the first antenna maintains its communication with the first satellite via the second beam.

Abstract: An example method of wireless data transmission may include determining a configuration of multiple antenna element nodes. The configuration may indicate a frequency band of operation for each of the multiple antenna element nodes and the configuration may be determined based on one or more network factors of multiple frequency bands. The method may also include selecting, based on the configuration, a signal path to couple to each of the multiple antenna element nodes from multiple signal paths. The multiple signal paths may each be configured to amplify signals carried thereon and at least two of the multiple signal paths may be coupled between each antenna element node and a common node. The method may further include directing, based on the configuration, wireless communications over the multiple antenna element nodes.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) including receiving a first reference signal (RS) from a first transmission reception point (TRP); receiving a second RS from a second TRP, wherein the first TRP and the second TRP are both associated with a BS; and transmitting, to the BS, an indication that one of a first shifted carrier frequency at which the first RS is received or a second shifted carrier frequency at which the second RS is received is preferred for use by the UE as a reference carrier frequency for demodulation.
