摘要: The present disclosure provides methods and apparatus for coordinated beamforming. An aspect of the disclosure provides a method. The method includes sending, by a first access point (AP) of a plurality of collaborating APs, to one or more stations (STAs) associated with the plurality of collaborating APs, a request for channel state information (CSI) associated with the one or more STAs and the first AP. The method further includes receiving a response including the CSI associated with the one or more STAs and the first AP. The method further includes sending, to a second AP of the plurality of collaborating APs, a sounding request indicating the second AP to request, from the one or more STAs, CSI associated with the one or more STAs and the second AP. The method further includes sharing CSI information between the first and the second AP.

摘要: Systems and methods described herein are provided for beamforming and uplink control and data transmission techniques. Such techniques enable a UE to maintain at least one beam process for operation with multiple beams and/or points. A beam process may be indicated for transmission or reception over a downlink or uplink physical channel. Power, timing, and channel state information may be specific to a beam process. A beam process may be established as part of a random access procedure in which resources may be provisioned in random access response messages. Techniques are provided to handle beam process failures, to use beam processes for mobility, and to select beams using open-loop and closed-loop selection procedures.

A first wireless node may transmit, to a second wireless node, an indication of an orbital angular momentum (OAM) base value that is associated with one or more OAM modes. The OAM base value may correspond to a number of antenna elements of an antenna ring at the first wireless node, and for each of the one or more OAM modes. Based on the OAM base value, the first wireless node may communicate reference signaling according to the one or more OAM modes using the number of antenna elements of the antenna ring. The second wireless node may use a same number of antenna elements based on the indicated OAM base value.

摘要: A system and method are provided in which an input including a measurement output of digital channel information is received. The digital channel information includes an estimated digital channel, a beamforming codebook, and quantized angle of arrival (AoA) values. A basis corresponding to one of the quantized AoA values is selected according to a largest projection power of the measurement output. A partial channel is recovered based on the beamforming codebook and the estimated digital channel. An analog channel is recovered based on the partial channel and the basis.

摘要: This application provides a transmission precoding matrix indication method and a device. The method includes: determining a bit quantity of a transmission precoding matrix indicator field corresponding to a subband scheduled for uplink based on downlink control information received from a network device, where the bit quantity of the transmission precoding matrix indicator field corresponding to the subband is related to a quantity of subbands corresponding to the resource scheduled for uplink; and further, determining an uplink transmission precoding matrix corresponding to the subband based on the bit quantity of the transmission precoding matrix indicator field corresponding to the subband and the uplink transmission layer quantity. A transmission precoding matrix indicator field can be effectively used, and control channel resource utilization is improved.
