摘要: Example methods and apparatus to audio watermarking and watermark detection and extraction are disclosed herein. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes memory, computer readable instructions, and processor circuitry to execute the computer readable instructions to at least detect a first symbol, a second symbol, a third symbol, and a fourth symbol sequentially in encoded audio samples, determine whether the first symbol is a synchronization symbol, in response to a determination that the first symbol is a synchronization symbol, determine that the first symbol and the third symbol are associated with a first message and the second symbol and the fourth symbol are associated with a second message, and output at least one of the first message or the second message.

摘要: Systems and methods are presented for insertion of assets into a stream of content (e.g., audio and/or video programming). Such assets may be targeted to network users separate from the surrounding content and deliveries thereof confirmed. Among other things, these systems and methods enable a new advertising paradigm based on guaranteed delivery of targeted commercial impressions. In this regard, the systems and methods generally provide assets with broadcast network programming (e.g., via actual insertion and/or switching to an asset channel) based on actual audience observations. For example, asset providers may wish to target assets for delivery according to specific audience classifications (e.g., gender, income level, locale, age, etc.). Programming providers, such as television programmers and radio programmers (e.g., standard tower broadcast radio and satellite radio), may receive information from broadcast network users and insert the assets into available bandwidth based on that information.

摘要: An apparatus for transmitting broadcasting signal using transmitter identification scaled by 4-bit injection level code and method using the same are disclosed. An apparatus for transmitting broadcasting signal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a waveform generator configured to generate a host broadcasting signal; a transmitter identification signal generator configured to generate a transmitter identification signal for identifying a transmitter, the transmitter identification signal scaled by an injection level code; and a combiner configured to inject the transmitter identification signal into the host broadcasting signal in a time domain so that the transmitter identification signal is transmitted synchronously with the host broadcasting signal.

The in-band data is processed and in-band data pattern data associated with the content stream are created. Metadata are attached to the event identification data. The event identification data are provided to multimedia devices which receive broadcasted multimedia content streams containing video programs with in-band data. The in-band data are processed and compared to the event identification data. If a match occurs, the multimedia device uses the metadata to perform specified actions.

摘要: To provide a transmission method of an arbitrary signal using an acoustic sound hardly affecting the mood (quality) of the original acoustic sound even if an arbitrary signal within an audible frequency range is combined into the acoustic sound such as music.The method comprises a step of finding a separable sound, of which a fundamental element (fundamental sound) b2 contributing mainly to recognition of a single sound and an additional element contributing collaterally to recognition of the single sound are separable on temporal axis or frequency axis, among plural sounds composing the acoustic sound, or inserting a separable sound into the plural sounds composing the acoustic sound. The additional element of the separable sound found or inserted is transcribed by a signal pattern b1-1, b1-2 of the arbitrary signal. By means of the acoustic sound of which additional element is transcribed, the arbitrary signal b1-1, b1-2 is transmitted. The additional element may be a sound generated when transmitting vibration energy to a resonance body (resonant body). The fundamental element may be a sound produced according the own resonance mode (resonant mode) by the resonance body (resonant body) receiving the vibration energy.

摘要: Disclosed is an audio watermark insertion method. The audio watermark insertion method includes performing a modulated complex lapped transform (MCLT) on a first audio signal, inserting a bit string of a watermark in the first audio signal obtained by performing the MCLT, performing an inverse modified discrete cosine transform (IMDCT) on the first audio signal in which the bit string is inserted, and obtaining a second audio signal, which is the first audio signal in which the watermark is inserted, by performing an overlap-add on a signal obtained by performing the IMDCT and a neighbor frame signal.

摘要: Methods and apparatus to generate and use content-aware watermarks are disclosed herein. An example disclosed method includes detecting a watermark in a first media composition, the watermark encoded with a word present in an audio track of the first media composition, the word audible during playback of the audio track. The example method also includes retrieving the word from the watermark. The example method also includes determining whether the word retrieved from the watermark matches a keyword, and presenting a second media composition when the word matches the keyword.
