摘要: Some embodiments provide a novel method for deploying different virtual networks over several public cloud datacenters for different entities. For each entity, the method (1) identifies a set of public cloud datacenters of one or more public cloud providers to connect a set of machines of the entity, (2) deploys managed forwarding nodes (MFNs) for the entity in the identified set of public cloud datacenters, and then (3) configures the MFNs to implement a virtual network that connects the entity's set of machines across its identified set of public cloud datacenters. In some embodiments, the method identifies the set of public cloud datacenters for an entity by receiving input from the entity's network administrator. In some embodiments, this input specifies the public cloud providers to use and/or the public cloud regions in which the virtual network should be defined. Conjunctively, or alternatively, this input in some embodiments specifies actual public cloud datacenters to use.

摘要: A non-volatile digital storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by a server system, establish on the server system computer processes for implementing a method of providing a server-based feature cloud model of a realm, the method comprising: receiving by a server a series of digital contributions that collectively originate from a plurality of remote computing devices, each digital contribution characterizing a defined and distinct three-dimensional volume of the realm, wherein each distinct three-dimensional volume includes a portion that does not overlap any other three-dimensional volume; processing by the server of each one of the received digital contributions to associate such contribution with a global coordinate system; and storing and integrating each of the processed contributions in a realm model database so as to provide the feature cloud model of the realm stored on the server.

In various embodiments, a computing system might receive, from a user, a request to access at least one network-accessible resource associated with a customer of a service provider, the user being unassociated and unrelated with the customer; might identify at least one of a user identification, a company, or a class of user associated with the user; might determine whether at least one resource record associated with the customer indicates that the user has permission to access the at least one network-accessible resource, based on the identification. If so, the computing system might provide the user with access to the at least one network-accessible resource associated with the customer. If not, the computing system might deny, to the user, access to the at least one network-accessible resource associated with the customer.

摘要: Systems and methods for dynamic storage and forwarding of data are described. When remote storage is unreachable by a device via a wide area network (WAN), the device may negotiate for temporary storage on another device connected to the same local area network (LAN). The temporary storage may have a specified storage amount and a specified storage time. The specified storage amount and/or specified storage time may be renegotiated if more space or time is desired. Temporary storage on multiple devices connected to the LAN may be available. The data in temporary storage may be transferred between different LAN devices.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for a processor-implemented method for compressing, storing, and transmitting simulation data. The simulation data including a set of floating point data values is received, the simulation data characterizing simulated physical properties of a physical object. A first master data value is identified from the set to cluster one or more data values from the set as a first group of data values based on a comparison between a data value of the set and the first master data value. Compressed simulation data is transmitted, where the compressed simulation data includes a floating point representation of the first master data value and integer representations of other data values of the first group of data values.

摘要: An information converting method and a system thereof are configured to convert a first information into a second information. An information obtaining step is performed to obtain the first information corresponding to a first communication protocol and transmit the first information to a converter. The first information includes a first access layer sub-information and an upper-layer protocol sub-information. A first access layer removing step is performed to drive the converter to remove the first access layer sub-information from the first information according to a converting process. A second access layer adding step is performed to drive the converter to add a second access layer sub-information corresponding to a second communication protocol to the first information and combine the second access layer sub-information with the upper-layer protocol sub-information according to the converting process, so that the first information is converted into the second information.
