摘要: A computer-implemented method of adjusting a resource credit configuration for cloud resources that includes collecting a resource credit inventory and attributing metadata related to resources from one or more cloud resources. An expected resource demand is determined. A plurality of resource credit configurations is determined that matches the determined expected resource demand. An improved resource credit benefit based on the resource credit inventory and on the plurality of credit configurations is determined that matches the determined expected resource demand. A modified attribute metadata based on the determined improved resource credit benefit is then determined.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method for managing a plurality of edge devices based on a predicted network bandwidth utilization includes: identifying a plurality of management tasks associated with the plurality of edge devices, each of the plurality of management tasks associated with a priority; determining a management task of the plurality of management tasks to be assigned to an edge device of the plurality of edge devices; accessing a time series indicating the predicted network bandwidth utilization of the plurality of edge devices; generating a threshold value for the management task based on the time series, the threshold value corresponding to a percentage of the predicted network bandwidth utilization and including one or more available time slots; determining that the predicted network bandwidth utilization is less than the threshold value; and assigning the management task to the edge device.

摘要: When the load becomes high, an identification unit (301) of a second packet forwarding device (30) identifies an application of a new flow. Then, a determination unit (302) determines whether or not distribution of new flow is necessary, based on the flow characteristic of the application and the type of the high load. Then, when distribution of the new flow is necessary, a decision unit (303) acquires a list of second packet forwarding devices (30) having a low load from the load monitoring device (10), and decides a second packet forwarding device (30) as the distribution destination. Then, a control unit (304) performs a route control for guiding the flow to the second packet forwarding device (30) which is the distribution destination.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices are described for providing dynamic spatial allocation of satellite capacity based on aircraft load forecasting. In embodiments, a satellite communications system provides network access service over a service area via a plurality of satellite user beams, predicts spatial network resource demand for the service area over one or more service periods based at least in part on forecasted travel paths of a plurality of mobile multi-user terminals over the one or more service periods and respective predicted service demands for the plurality of mobile multi-user terminals, determines a satellite capacity resource configuration for the plurality of satellite user beams for the one or more service periods based on the predicted spatial network resource demand, and then adapts at least one characteristic of the plurality of satellite user beams for the one or more service periods based on the determined satellite capacity resource configuration.

摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method that includes detecting events relating to user equipment on a communication network, collecting first event data including event times and locations, and collecting second event data regarding second event dimensions determined at least in part by the event type. The method also includes generating, for each of the event types, an event data structure associated with the user, based on the first event data and second event data. The event data structures are concatenated to generate an event history flow associated with the user; the event history flow is analyzed to identify causal events for a detected event. The method also includes generating a model for performance of the user equipment based on the causal events to predict a future event, and identifying potential adjustments to the communication network to prevent that event. Other embodiments are disclosed.

The accelerator includes acceleration circuitry with multiple logic portions, each capable of executing a different workload. Additionally, the accelerator includes communication circuitry to receive a workload to be executed by a logic portion of the accelerator and a dynamic resource allocation logic unit to identify a resource utilization threshold associated with one or more shared resources of the accelerator to be used by a logic portion in the execution of the workload, limit, as a function of the resource utilization threshold, the utilization of the one or more shared resources by the logic portion as the logic portion executes the workload, and subsequently adjust the resource utilization threshold as the workload is executed. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

摘要: Apparatus to predict end of streaming media using a prediction model are disclosed herein. Examples disclosed herein comprise a predictor to determine a bandwidth rate associated with presentation of streaming media based on monitored traffic between a user device and the streaming media, a modeler to generate a prediction model based on characteristics of the bandwidth rate, and a forecaster to determine that a time when an output of the prediction model is below a minimum bandwidth threshold is a session end time for a streaming media session, the session end time corresponding to when the user device stops receiving the streaming media.
