    摘要: A system for modulating a carrier frequency to support nondestructive bitwise arbitration of a communication medium. The system comprises a first sensor module coupled to a power supply line via a first power line coupling circuit. The first sensor module comprises a first micro-controller and a first transceiver. The first transceiver includes a first transmitter for converting a digital signal received from the first micro-controller into a first analog signal for transmission over the power supply line. The first transmitter includes a first oscillator operating within an allowable frequency deviation to provide a first predetermined onset phase. The system further comprises a second sensor module coupled to the power supply line via a second power line coupling circuit. The second sensor module comprises a second micro-controller and a second transceiver. The second transceiver includes a second transmitter for converting a digital signal received from the second micro-controller into a second analog signal for transmission over the power supply line. The second transmitter includes a second oscillator operating within the allowable frequency deviation to provide a second predetermined onset phase. The second analog signal is different from the first analog signal and the second predetermined onset phase is different from the first predetermined onset phase. The difference between the first predetermined onset phase and the second predetermined onset phase is within a limit.

    摘要: A transmitting controller is connected to an AC powerline and on command places a series of signal pulse in the powerline in a series of signal timing windows related to zero voltage crossing points so that the signal pulses are in the powerline temporal quiet zone. The receiving controller is connected to the powerline and has a filter circuit therein which filters away the powerline AC signal and noise to leave the sensed pulses. The sensed pulses are compared to zero voltage crossing points to determine in which signal timing window the pulses have occurred. Digital data is communicated over the powerline in accordance with the placement of the signal pulses related to the particular timing window.

The warning, which may be audio and/or visual, informs the subscriber of the impending emergency and/or the necessary actions that needs to be taken by the subscriber. By sending the warning via a telecommunication network, a large number of people can be contacted with specific details of the impending emergency within a short period of time.

During emergency calls from devices in the private network (such as 911 calls), elements of the private network may provide enhanced services. In response to an appropriate request during the emergency call, the private network may supply detailed location information of the calling device to the operator within the emergency call. The private network may further supply relevant personal information for a user associated with the calling device to the emergency operator during the call. The private network may supply the location information and/or personal information to other personnel, such as an emergency access point or private emergency response personnel. Private network may further conference private emergency response personnel into emergency calls between managed telephony devices and governmental emergency response personnel.
