摘要: The method includes inputting first groups of frequency samples to be transmitted over, respectively received from, first and second subsets of subscriber lines at respective first tones and following a first group selection order, alternated with mirrored second groups of frequency samples to be transmitted over, respectively received from, the second subset of subscriber lines at respective mirrored second tones of the first tones, and following a mirrored second group selection order of the first group selection order, to a vectoring processor for joint mitigation of first crosstalk present over the first and second subsets of subscriber lines at the respective first tones and second crosstalk present over the second subset of subscriber lines at the respective second tones. The first tones are common to the first and second transmit spectra. Mirroring is with respect to a folding frequency derived from a reference sampling frequency applicable to the first subset of subscriber lines.

摘要: A method for implementing an upstream symbol alignment within a network component, the method comprising receiving an upstream sync signal via an initializing digital subscriber line (DSL) during a channel discovery phase from a customer premise equipment (CPE), determining a corrected upstream symbol alignment value based upon the upstream sync signal, and transmitting the corrected upstream symbol alignment value to the CPE, wherein the upstream symbol alignment value determines an upstream symbol alignment for one or more upstream transmissions, and wherein the corrected upstream symbol alignment value is determined before receiving a plurality of upstream data signals within the data symbol positions during the channel discovery phase.

摘要: A method for dynamically modifying a frame structure in tranceiving of data between a network side entity and at least one node, the data is divided among a plurality of frames, the method comprising: providing an upstream management symbol offset position with respect to a frame reference point, said upstream management symbol offset position is associated with an up-stream management symbol that is configured to at least convey downstream acknowledgement data; providing an updated frame structure to said at least one node, including: information defining a transition point between downstream and upstream; and a reference point indicating when said updated frame structure shall take effect; receiving said updated frame structure by said at least one node; and employing said updated frame structure from said reference point, by said network side entity.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for telephone line access with crosstalk stability. A transceiver device coupled to a telephone line, bundled with other telephone lines in a telephone cable, may determine when another transceiver device connected to the telephone cable is estimating signal to noise ratio on another telephone line in the telephone cable, and may control communications over on the telephone line, the controlling including forcing a transmission on the telephone line based on the estimation of signal to noise ratio by the other transceiver device. The transmission may be forced on the telephone line when there is no data to send on the telephone line at a time when the other transceiver device estimates the signal to noise ratio. The forced transmission may be generated by modulating sub-carriers using a pseudo-random sequence generated with an initial seed different from initial seeds used by other transceiver devices.

摘要: At least one example embodiment discloses a method of determining crosstalk for at least one first line in a communication system having a plurality of second lines. The method includes obtaining at least one pilot matrix representing a sequence of pilot signals and transmitting pilot signals across the plurality of second lines in accordance with the at least one pilot matrix. The method further includes obtaining measurement vectors for the at least one first line on a plurality of subcarriers, in response to the transmitted pilot signals, determining a weighted vector, the weighted vector being a weighted combination of the measurement vectors and determining a crosstalk coupling vector based on the determined weighted vector.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus for crosstalk avoidance in a telecommunications network are disclosed. In one aspect a telecommunications device includes a transceiver and a vectoring engine coupled to the transceiver. The vectoring engine can include a vectoring processor and vectoring control entity (e.g., apparatus). The vectoring engine is configured to instruct the transceiver to transmit, over a given line pair of a given vectoring group, initialization symbols at one or more configurable locations of a Time-Division Duplex (TDD) frame. For example, the vectoring engine can instruct the transceiver to transmit the initialization symbols beginning at a first symbol time following transmission, over other line pairs of the given vectoring group, of a Robust Management Channel (RMC) symbol.

摘要: In an audio conferencing environment, including multiple users participating by means of a series of associated audio input devices for the provision of audio input, and a series of audio output devices for the output of audio output streams to the multiple users, with the audio input and output devices being interconnected to a mixing control server for the control and mixing of the audio inputs from each audio input devices to present a series of audio streams to the audio output devices, a method of reducing the effects of cross talk pickup of at least a first audio conversation by multiple audio input devices, the method including the steps of: (a) monitoring the series of audio input devices for the presence of a duplicate audio conversation input from at least two input audio sources in an audio output stream; and (b) where a duplicate audio conversation input is detected, suppressing the presence of the duplicate audio conversation input in the audio output stream.

In some implementations, a system includes telephone lines bundled together, electronic equipment at a first location includes a first transceiver device for each of the telephone lines, where each first transceiver device at the first location is configured to coordinate transmissions over a respective telephone line coupled with the first transceiver device; and second transceiver devices coupled respectively with the telephone lines at second locations, such that each second transceiver device is respectively paired with a first transceiver device at the first location; each pair of the first and second transceiver devices is configured to force transmission on a telephone line connecting the pair when another pair of the first and second transceiver devices estimates a signal to noise ratio on the telephone line connecting the other pair.
