摘要: An electronic apparatus performs a method of decoding video data, including receiving, from bitstream, a first syntax element in a slice header of a slice that indicates whether luma mapping with chroma scaling (LMCS) is applied to a coding unit in the slice; receiving a second syntax element for the coding unit that indicates whether the coding unit has been coded using adaptive color-space transform (ACT); if the second syntax element has a non-zero value, decoding the coding unit by applying inverse ACT to convert luma and chroma residuals of the coding unit from a transformed color space to an original color space of the video data; and if the first syntax element has a non-zero value, decoding the coding unit by performing inverse luma mapping to the luma samples and inverse scaling to the chroma residuals of the coding unit after performing the inverse ACT.

摘要: Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for image data encoding/decoding. A method of decoding an image includes receiving a bitstream in which the image is encoded; obtaining index information for specifying a block division type of a current block in the image; and determining the block division type of the current block from a candidate group pre-defined in the decoding apparatus. The candidate group includes a plurality of candidate division types, including at least one of a non-division, a first quad-division, a second quad-division, a binary-division or a triple-division. The method also includes dividing the current block into a plurality of sub-blocks; and decoding each of the sub-blocks with reference to syntax information obtained from the bitstream.

摘要: A processor obtains pieces of coded data, which are included in a bitstream and generated by coding tiles, and tile boundary independence information, which indicates whether each boundary between the tiles is a first or second boundary. Image data of a first tile is generated by decoding a first code string included in first coded data with reference to decoding information of a decoded tile when the tile boundary independence information indicates the first boundary, and by decoding the first code string without referring to the decoding information when the tile boundary independence information indicates the second boundary. A bit string is added after the first code string to make a bit length of first coded data a multiple of a predetermined N bits, with N being an integer greater than or equal to 2.

摘要: Various implementations described herein include methods and systems for coding video. In one aspect, a video bitstream includes a current image frame and a first syntax element for a bi-predictive intra block copy (IBC) mode. Based on the first syntax element, it is determined that a current coding block of the current image frame is coded with two reference coding blocks located in a reconstructed portion of the current image frame according to the bi-predictive IBC mode. The two reference coding blocks corresponding to the current coding block are identified in the reconstructed portion of the current image frame. A target weight associated with the two reference coding blocks is adaptively determined for the current coding block, and used to combine the two reference coding blocks and predict the current coding block. The current image frame is reconstructed, and includes the current coding block.

摘要: A method for processing a video includes determining a horizontal transform type index for a horizontal transform kernel and a vertical transform type index for a vertical transform kernel of a transform block in the video signal, determining a transform region in which a significant transform coefficient exists in the transform block based on the horizontal transform type index, the vertical transform type index, and a size of the transform block, and applying inverse-transform to the transform region based on the horizontal transform type index and the vertical transform type index. A width of the transform region is determined based on a comparison between the horizontal transform type index and a reference value and a height of the transform region is determined based on a comparison between the vertical transform type index and the reference value.
