    Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for managing media storage and delivery, including obtaining information about a three-dimensional (3D) scene; obtaining, from the information, a parameter indicating that viewport adaptation is enabled; rendering the 3D scene, wherein the 3D scene includes at least one two-dimensional (2D) video to be reproduced within the 3D scene; obtaining a current viewport of a user; determining whether the at least one 2D video is inside of a range of the current viewport; and adjusting a bitrate of the at least one 2D video based on a result of the determining.

    Abstract: A method for providing a unique remote experience of a live event includes receiving in near real time at a headend processing system from a control center at an event location raw media data captured at a live event occurring at the event location. Copies of the raw media data from the headend processing system are disseminated in near real time to a plurality of server nodes of a geographically distributed content delivery network connected together via communication network. The raw media data is processed to produce one or more customized presentations of the live event in the form of streaming audio/video (A/V) files of one or more subsets of the raw media data pursuant to one or more data structures corresponding, respectively, to one or more subscriber accounts. The streaming A/V files are transmitted over a communication network to one or more respective subscriber presentation devices.

    Abstract: A system and method for generating a multi-source video to expedite video editing are disclosed. An exemplary system comprises a video switch (234) configured to (a) receive a plurality of video streams (232), each video stream associated with one of a plurality of cameras (120A-120C); and (b) select at least one portion of video from each of the plurality of video streams; a source identifier mapping module (238) configured to generate a plurality of source identifiers (370-372), each source identifier associated with one of the plurality of video streams; a video watermarking module (240) configured to: (a) embed, for each selected portion of video, one of the plurality of source identifiers in the portion of video (350-352); wherein the source identifier embedded in each selected portion of video corresponds to the video stream from which the portion of video was received; and (b) generate a multi-source video (242) comprising the selected portions of video with embedded source identifier; and a video editing processor (150) configured to pre-cache the selected portions of video based on the multi-source video and embedded source identifiers.

    Abstract: During a live event, one or more cameras capture audiovisual data and provide the captured audiovisual data via one or more data feeds. The one or more data feeds are downscaled to a lower resolution and presented on a graphical user interface (GUI). One or more production selections are made related to the one or more data feeds via the GUI by a video editor to create a broadcast stream of the live event. A presentation track is created based on the one or more production selections made by the video editor. The presentation track is streamed to a user's device as a data feed and is used to re-create the broadcast stream of the live event. The user's device, based on the presentation track, obtains media streams from the one or more cameras at the captured resolution.
