摘要： A method for providing a unique remote experience of a live event includes receiving in near real time at a headend processing system from a control center at an event location raw media data captured at a live event occurring at the event location. Copies of the raw media data from the headend processing system are disseminated in near real time to a plurality of server nodes of a geographically distributed content delivery network connected together via communication network. The raw media data is processed to produce one or more customized presentations of the live event in the form of streaming audio/video (A/V) files of one or more subsets of the raw media data pursuant to one or more data structures corresponding, respectively, to one or more subscriber accounts. The streaming A/V files are transmitted over a communication network to one or more respective subscriber presentation devices.

摘要： Aspects of the invention relate to systems and methods for securely retaining profile data and the use of such data for the targeted delivery of content. In one embodiment, a unique profile that represents the user location and is keyed to profile attributes selected from both a first set of data collected from the user location and the second set of profile data collected from an external source, is generated. The key does not allow a third party to identify the end-user location or a user associated with the end-user location. Electronic content transmitted to end-user locations may be encoded such that it may only be accessed by an authorized user and/or on a specific electronic device at the user location. A graphical user interface may be utilized to allow a third-party to provide selection criteria for determining user locations to receive targeted content. Further aspects of the invention relate to an electronic device configured to present targeted content to a user at a user location.

The identification component identifies a first set of media content associated with a first social group and a second set of media content associated with a second social group. The generation component generates a media channel based on the first and second sets of media content identified as being respectively associated with the first and second social groups. The permissions component grants access to the media channel based at least on permissions generated for the first and second sets of media content in connection with the respective first and second social groups.

摘要： Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for artificially generating translated media streams are provided. A media stream of an individual speaking in an origin language may be received. The individual may be associated with a particular voice. The received media stream may be analyzed to determine characteristics of the particular voice of the individual. A synthesized voice may be determined based on the determined characteristics of the particular voice of the individual. The synthesized voice may sound substantially identical to the particular voice. A translated media stream that includes, for each word spoken in the origin language in the media stream, a respective at least one word in the target language articulated using the synthesized voice, may be generated.

The manifest customization application generates a recommended presentation based on the first set of video streams and the first set of audio streams. The manifest customization application generates a manifest file that allows the media title to be played back in accordance with at least the recommended presentation.

摘要： An apparatus and method for providing a virtual online live video channel are disclosed. In one implementation, a processing device may receive a request to play the virtual online linear video channel from a video player. The processing device may establish a connection between a manifest server and the video player. The processing device may further identify a schedule for the virtual online linear video channel, the schedule identifies a plurality of video sources. The processing device may then provide, using the connection, a manifest file to the video player, the manifest file corresponding to the schedule for the virtual online linear video channel and identifying a first location of a live video stream and a second location of a prerecorded video signal, the live video stream and the prerecorded video signal to be retrieved by the video player and presented to a user of the video player.
