    摘要: An image processing device including a memory; and at least one image signal processor configured to: generate, using a first neural network, a feature value indicating whether to correct a global pixel value sensed during a unit frame interval, and generate a feature signal including the feature value; generate an image signal by merging the global pixel value with the feature signal; split a pixel value included in the image signal into a first sub-pixel value and a second sub-pixel value, split a frame feature signal included in the image signal into a first sub-feature value corresponding to the first sub-pixel value and a second sub-feature value corresponding to the second sub-pixel value, and generate a first sub-image signal including the first sub-pixel value and the first sub-feature value, and a second sub-image signal including the second sub-pixel value and the second sub-feature value; and sequentially correct the first sub-image signal and the second sub-image signal using a second neural network.

    摘要: A method of creating an image representative of a measured dataset by iteratively updating a base image includes: generating a principal dataset from the measured dataset, the principal dataset having noise at substantially the same level as the measured dataset; generating an additional dataset from the measured dataset such that the additional dataset has noise at substantially the same level as the measured dataset and is not identical to the principal dataset; processing the base image without noise compensation using the principal dataset and additional dataset to obtain a principal interim image and an additional interim image; comparing the principal and the additional interim image to determine an indication of a noise level present; and using the determined indication of noise present to select noise compensation to apply when processing the base image using the measured dataset to create a new base image representative of the measured dataset.

    摘要: Banding effects in an image or video are assessed. The image or each frame of a video is decomposed into luminance or color channels. Signal activity is computed at each spatial location in each channel. A significance of the signal activity at each spatial location is determined by comparing each element of the signal activity with a significance threshold. Banding pixels are detected as those pixels of the image or frame having significant signal activity at their respective spatial locations and having non-significant signal activity of at least a minimum threshold percentage of neighboring pixels to the respective spatial locations.

The method also includes restoring a detected moiré pattern region of the first image based on the at least one second image to generate a restored image. The processor is configured to: decompose an input image into a plurality of resolution images; set, as a base image, an image having a lower resolution than the input image among the plurality of resolution images and that detects a motion vector between the base image and the reference image; subject the reference image to motion compensation on the basis of the motion vector to generate a motion-compensated image; combine the base image with the motion-compensated image to generate a noise-reduced base image that serves as a new cyclic image; and combine the noise-reduced base image with the resolution image or resolution images other than the base image among the plurality of resolution images.
