    摘要: An information processing apparatus has a plurality of recording media, and includes an imaging unit operable to capture an image of a subject, and a recording unit operable to record image data of the captured image onto the recording media such that the amounts of recorded image data differ between the recording media. The same image data is recorded onto at least a first recording medium built in the apparatus and a second recording medium removable from the apparatus such that the amount of data recorded on the first medium is smaller than that recorded on the second medium. In this information processing apparatus, a user can view images captured previously with more ease because image data recorded on the first recording medium is sorted by date and is provided to the user in this state.

    摘要: A standards converter converts an input video signal having time codes from a first television standard to a second television standard. The time codes are separated from the input video signal to obtain hours, minutes, and seconds values and input frame numbers. The hours, minutes, and seconds values are stored in a memory. Output frame numbers are generated in a consecutive sequence, from a first frame number to a last frame number, starting at times that are synchronized with the start of the sequence of input frame numbers. The output frame numbers are combined with the hours, minutes, and seconds values stored in the memory to generate output time codes, which are combined with the converted video signal.

    摘要: During a scanning operation of a camera as the camera moves along its predetermined path, it is occasionally necessary to readjust the iris of the camera due to varying light conditions occurring over a period of time. A control mechanism is incorporated within the lens system of the camera for enabling intermittent automatic adjustment of the iris at one or more predetermined positions along the path of movement of the camera or at preselected time intervals during the scanning operation. A drive motor acts for driving the iris to vary the size of the iris and such drive motor operates in response to signals received from a motor control circuit. In order to generate signals for adjusting the iris the light from the scene being viewed by the camera, e.g. the light passing through the lens, is measured and compared with a predetermined standard. When a difference exists between the light passing through the iris and the predetermined standard, a control signal is provided to the motor control circuit for generating a signal for driving the iris drive motor. However, a switch mechanism is connected to the motor control circuit and the drive motor so as to only allow operation of the drive motor when the switch circuit is in its closed position. An actuating mechanism causes the switching circuit to be closed when the camera is at a predetermined position along the path of movement of the camera or at preselected time intervals during the scanning operation.

    摘要: A solid-state imaging apparatus has an optical iris and a CCD imaging device which responds to light received from an object for producing a picture signal component and a reference black level signal component. A limiter limits the amplitude of the black level component to less than a predetermined value and the amplitude of the reference black level signal component is higher when the CCD imaging device is receiving such a quantity of light that the electric charges generated by photo-charge conversion in the light-sensitive elements in the CCD imaging device may not overflow from the light-sensitive elements. The limited amplitude is lower than the amplitude of the reference black signal component when the electric charges generated by photo-charge conversion in the light-sensitive elements overflow from the light-sensitive elements. A clamp circuit clamps the output from the CCD imaging device derived after passing through the limiter so that the reference black level signal component may take a predetermined voltage. An iris control circuit responds to the output of the clamp circuit for controlling the optical iris when the electric charges generated by photocharge conversion in the light-sensitive elements in the CCD imaging device have overflown from the light-sensitive elements. The signal level of the reference black level signal component output from the limiter may be restored to the signal level of the reference black level signal component when the electric charges generated by photocharge conversion in the light-sensitive elements in the CCD imaging device do not overflow. The same conditions arises in the reproduced picture, at the moment when an excessively large quantity of light would be received by human eyes. Hence, a viewer of the reproduced picture does not have an unnatural feeling.
