摘要： Module compressing/encoding plural images for recording, or an image recording apparatus or image recording system including the module. At least two first and second image input module types capture an image of frames from a video signal source, and convert into digital image data for output; an image input arbitration module arbitrates to place digital image data provided by the first type before digital image data provided by the second type. The first type image input module is provided with a real-time image. The apparatus or system further includes: a memory module temporarily storing the real-time image by a processing time for the arbitration module to process digital image data provided by the second type of image input module, an image encoding module compressing and encoding the digital image data, and changing a processing speed to perform a process of compression and encoding more in real time.

摘要： In one embodiment, an apparatus, method, and system for acquiring at least one image inside a cooking device. A camera can be configured to acquire the at least one image, and a controller can be configured to manage i) acquisition of the at least one image acquired by the camera and ii) transmission of the at least one image to a remote electronic device. Embodiments of the invention allow for remote monitoring of items inside or on the cooking device. As such, a user does not need to be physically near a cooking device to constantly monitor the item inside the cooking device. Embodiments of the invention can alternatively or additionally allow the user to remotely control the cooking device.

After a DVR (or other media device) has finished playing a recorded television program (or other content), or in response to other specified events, the DVR presents a screen which comprises a menu. In addition to or in alternative to “save” and “delete” options, the menu comprises one or more options. Each of these other options may correspond to a separate item. For example, a user's selection of such an option may cause the DVR to display or play certain content on the user's television set. Additionally, or alternatively, these other options, when selected by a user, may cause the DVR to display a user interface through which the user can actually interact with content, such as an item that was featured or referenced in the television program that the user was just watching.
