A node may transmit a time interval allocation bitmap indicating a configuration of reduced transmission power time intervals. Abstract: An orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) base station operative to transmit a sequence of OFDM signals simultaneously using at least two separate twisted pairs, in which each of the OFDM signals is modulated by a plurality of sub-carriers. At least two converters are connected to the OFDM base station using the at least two twisted pairs, respectively, in which each of the converters, and simultaneously with the other converters, is configured to receive each of the OFDM signals from the OFDM base station using the respective twisted pair, up-convert the OFDM signal into a radio-frequency (RF) band, and re-transmit wirelessly the OFDM signal, in conjunction with the RF band, from at least one antenna associated with each converter.

Abstract: Using a Radio Access Network (RAN) capacity exchange (or RANxChange), mobile operators can advertise slices/partitions of available unused base station capacity, and auction and lease it. A member-operator can advertise their unused base station capacity availability or lease capacity from another member-operator for a specific time period. The bidding operators can bid for the full auctioned capacity or portion of the auctioned capacity. The users start attaching the leased slice transparently without any configuration changes on their mobile devices.

Measurement subframe allocation bitmaps may indicate measurement subframes. A first measurement subframe allocation bitmap may exclude subframes indicated by the subframe allocation bitmap. A second measurement subframe allocation bitmap may exclude the measurement subframes indicated by of the first measurement subframe allocation bitmap.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for applying wireless resources in order to control inter-cell interference in a heterogeneous network system. The method for applying wireless resources provided by the present invention generates an almost blank subframe (ABS) pattern on the basis of the type of data transmitted from at least one of a first base station and a second base station, applies a non-ABS or an ABS to wireless resources of the first base station according to the generated ABS pattern, and performs data communication by using the wireless resources to which the ABS has been applied.

Abstract: Efficient opportunistic communications in integrated access and backhaul (IAB) frameworks are provided allowing scheduling nodes and scheduled nodes to communicate within an allocated set of resources based on a different configuration than for non-opportunistic communications using a different set of resources. An additional set of available resources may be allocated for coordinated communications between a parent IAB-node and the child IAB-node. Resources within this available set are associated with a first configuration, and when prior coordination exists, the parent IAB-node and child IAB-node may communicate based on this first configuration over this available set of resources. However, when prior coordination does not exist, the parent IAB-node and child IAB-node may opportunistically communicate over the allocated set of resources based on a second configuration different than the first configuration. Using different configurations, power may be conserved and resources managed more efficiently in opportunistic communications where unsuccessful transmissions may be more likely.

Abstract: This application provides a radio resource determining method and apparatus. The method includes: selecting, by a terminal from candidate resources, a radio resource used for a proximity-based service; and sending report information to a first service server, where the report information is used to report that the terminal is to perform the proximity-based service by using the radio resource, and the first service server is a service server in a home network of the terminal. According to embodiments of the present invention, the terminal selects the radio resource used for performing the proximity-based service, so as to avoid a time loss caused by allocation of the radio resource to the terminal by a base station, thereby improving efficiency of performing the proximity-based service by the terminal.
