    Abstract: According to an embodiment, a system and method is disclosed for efficient wake up in a wireless communication device for receiving beacons without significantly affecting the battery power and data throughput. Wireless device receives beacons from network elements such as access points. If beacons are not received as scheduled within defined intervals, then the wireless device determines a pattern of beacon reception timings and uses a weighted score process to select the best possible reception timing pattern and uses it as the schedule for receiving beacons on going forward basis, thus avoiding staying awake at all time to receive misaligned beacons.

    Abstract: In some implementations, a locating agent may identify, at the locating agent, one or more identifiable access points, each identifiable access point establishing a wireless network and being identifiable to the locating agent via a signal broadcast from the identifiable access point. The locating agent may compare the identified one or more identifiable access points to an access-point database defining known access points to the wireless tracking system. The locating agent may connect to one of the identifiable access points based on the comparing. The locating agent may transmit one or more of sensed and monitoring data captured at the locating agent to an external device via the connected access point.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a semi-static time and frequency configuration for subband full duplex (SBFD) operation in a symbol or slot pattern. The UE may communicate based at least in part on the semi-static time and frequency configuration and one or more of the dynamic indication or a restriction rule that restricts application of the dynamic indication.     Abstract: A wireless telecommunication system includes base stations for communicating with terminal devices. One or more base stations support a power boost operating mode in which a base station's available transmission power is concentrated in a subset of its available transmission resources to provide enhanced transmission powers as compared to transmission powers on these transmission resources when the base station is not operating in the power boost mode. A base station establishes an extent to which one or more base stations in the wireless telecommunications system support the power boost operating mode conveys an indication of this to a terminal device. The terminal device receives the indication and uses the corresponding 10 information to control its acquisition of a base station of the wireless telecommunication system, for example by taking account of which base stations support power boosting and/or when power boosting is supported during a cell attach procedure.
