    Abstract: Radio resource is allocated to a subscriber module in a fixed wireless access cellular wireless system comprising an access point and a plurality of subscriber modules at static locations, each subscriber module having a directional antenna aligned with the access point, and the area of coverage of the access point having a plurality of sectors, each sector being served by a respective radio transceiver of the access point. The same frequency allocation is allocated to each sector, the radio resource for each sector being allocated as a plurality of time slots each having the same frequency allocation. A suitability of the subscriber module for time slot re-use is determined based on a first criterion. If is suitable for time slot re-use based on the first criterion, time slots are allocated for communication to the subscriber module that are also allocated to an adjacent sector.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting and receiving a synchronization signal block in a 5G system, and a device for transmitting and receiving a synchronization signal block in a 5G system. The method includes: determining a time-domain position of a synchronization subframe, the synchronization subframe being configured to transmit the synchronization signal block, and the synchronization signal block at least comprising a signal for measurement; and transmitting the synchronization signal block according to the position of the synchronization subframe within 5 milliseconds; wherein determining a time-domain position of a synchronization subframe includes: determining a first subframe as the synchronization subframe within 5 milliseconds; or determining first two subframes within 5 milliseconds in a radio frame as the synchronization subframe, wherein the first two subframes comprise a first subframe and a second subframe.

    Abstract: This disclosure details a base station and client devices using dynamic spectrum access for communication within a frequency spectrum by selecting channels dynamically for efficient communication. This includes identifying active uplink and downlink channels from an available list and allocating them to multiple client devices based on their locations, with some devices sharing common active channels. A downlink channel is designated as a beaconing channel, used for beaconing with embedded information, including the coordinates of a region among a plurality of regions, available channels for the region, and a buffer slot in the channels, during a beaconing period occurring outside regular transmission times. Acknowledgments with medium access control (MAC) commands for an identified subset of client devices sharing an active channel are grouped and transmitted, with each message in the plurality of messages on the uplink channels followed by a downlink acknowledgment.

    Abstract: In a wireless communication system, dynamic changes of a code block (CB) to resource element (RE) mapping type may improve decoding performance in some scenarios. A user equipment may provide an indication of a preferred CB mapping type. A base station may transmit a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) based on a first dynamic CB mapping type in one or more slots. A UE may receive the PDSCH and determine a second CB mapping type that is preferred by the UE based on a metric. The UE may transmit an indicator of the second CB mapping type, for example, as a one-bit or two-bit indicator, which may be coupled with a channel state information (CSI) report or signaled in uplink control information (UCI) independently from a CSI report. The base station may consider the indicator when selecting a new dynamic CB mapping type for the UE.

    Abstract: A communications method and apparatus are provided. A network device determines whether a first capability of a terminal device is less than or equal to a second capability of the terminal device. The first capability is a capability of the terminal device of working at a first frequency when the terminal device supports only a first radio access technology, and the second capability is a capability of the terminal device corresponding to the first frequency in a first frequency combination. When the first capability is less than or equal to the second capability, the network device sends a first message to the terminal device. The first message is used to indicate the terminal device to measure a second frequency, the first message does not include a configuration of a first measurement gap, and the first measurement gap is used to measure the second frequency.
