摘要: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE) to support dual-connectivity with a Master Evolved Node-B (MeNB) and a Secondary eNB (SeNB) are disclosed herein. The UE may receive downlink traffic packets from the MeNB and from the SeNB as part of a split data radio bearer (DRB). At least a portion of control functionality for the split DRB may be performed at each of the MeNB and the SeNB. The UE may receive an uplink eNB indicator for an uplink eNB to which the UE is to transmit uplink traffic packets as part of the split DRB. Based at least partly on the uplink eNB indicator, the UE may transmit uplink traffic packets to the uplink eNB as part of the split DRB. The uplink eNB may be selected from a group that includes the MeNB and the SeNB.

摘要: Various embodiments herein disclose a method camping a User Equipment (UE) on a cell, the method comprising: creating a combined Most Recently Used (MRU) list by merging a list 4G MRU frequencies with a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) having a 5GC and a list of 5G MRU frequencies, determining whether one of a 4G cell with 5G core (5GC) and a 5G cell is available for camping by performing a MRU scan on the combined MRU list; performing one of: camping on one of the 4G cell with 5G core and the 5G cell in response to determining that one of the 5G cell and the 4G cell with 5G core is available and performing a 4G MRU frequency scan on a list of 4G without 5GC MRU frequencies in response to determining that one of the 4G cell with 5G core and the 5G cell is not available.

摘要: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus of a first network node are provided. The first network node may send quality of service (QoS) information and a request to a second network node to configure, based on the QoS information, a backhaul routing path for traffic between the first network node and a third network node via the second network node, the third network node having a signaling connection with the first network node. The first network node may communicate, with the second network node in response to the request, QoS mapping information. The first network node may configure an Internet protocol (IP) header of an IP packet based on the communicated QoS mapping information. The first network node may send the IP packet with the configured header to the second network node for routing through the backhaul routing path.

摘要: A first mobile network operator (MNO) periodically retrieves roaming network updates for reconfiguring one or more network subsystems of a network operated by the first MNO. A portion of the roaming network update is retrieved from an operator master database (OMD). The roaming network update includes roam data associated with a second MNO and configuration data for the one or more network subsystems. The roam data is retrieved via IR.21 information from a cloud server associated with the second MNO. The roam data specifies one or more telecommunications carriers associated with the second MNO. The one or more network subsystems for reconfiguration are identified based on the roaming network update. The one or more network subsystems are reconfigured using the roaming network update to enable one or more user devices associated with the second MNO for roaming on the network.

摘要: Methods and systems for MT (mobile terminated) call recovery in an IP multimedia system (IMS) network are discussed herein. A method according to an implementation comprises receiving, via a network, a request to establish a call session with a user equipment (UE); sending, to a first serving call session control function (S-CSCF), a first invite associated with the request; determining that no response is received from the first S-CSCF after a pre-set time period; sending, to a second S-CSCF, a second invite associated with the request, causing the second S-CSCF to perform actions including: obtaining an authentication to establish the call session; and sending, to a proxy call session control function (P-CSCF) of the UE, a third invite associated with the request; and receiving, via the network, a confirmation that the call session with the UE is established.

摘要: The systems and method disclosed herein optimize the deregistration of user equipment (UE) from the 5GC. For example, when the UE operates in single-registration mode, for AMF 3GPP access registration with drFlag attribute set to false (or to be absent) in UDM/UDR, a “new attribute”, singleRegIndication, is defined. The AMF sets the singleRegIndication value to “NO_INDICATION” when there is no N26 interface connection to MME. UDM will not instruct HSS to cancel MME (and SGSN/VLR) if there is an old AMF 3GPP registration for which “NO_INDICATION” or “DEREGISTER_SN” is set as the singleRegIndication value (i.e. the old AMF was already registered with the single registration). Otherwise, the AMF sets the singleRegIndication value to “DEREGISTER_SN” when the AMF has established a N26 interface connection to the old MME. UDM can instruct HSS to cancel the MME (and SGSN/VLR).
