    摘要: A method for enhancing User Equipment (UE) handling of UE Route Selection Policy (URSP) rules selection is provided. A UE initiates to send a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) of an application to a mobile communication network. The UE determines that it has no URSP signaled from the mobile communication network. In response to there being pre-configured URSP rules of a Home Public Land Mobile Network (HPLMN) in a Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM), the UE uses only the pre-configured URSP rules of the HPLMN in the USIM to derive configuration of a PDU session via which to send the PDU of the application.

    摘要: A method and system for operating an ad hoc communication network under suboptimal commercial global navigation satellite system (GNSS) conditions and a loss of a base station communication link is disclosed. The method includes configuring the ad hoc communication network to operation in in-band or out-of-band mode, allowing device-to-device D2D communication. The method further includes configuring the ad hoc communication system to operate in overlay mode, sharing communication resources between network-controlled resources and D2D resources. The method further includes configuring the D2D resources with a base station precedent to the loss of the base station communication link and enabling the ad hoc communication network to operate in frequency hopping mode. The method further includes disabling physical sidelink control channel synchronization and/or resource management within the ad hoc communication network. In some embodiments of the method, and configuring the ad hoc communication network to include at least one nonstandard-GNSS time-synchronization method.

The second message, based on the first message, comprises redirection information. The redirection information comprises one or more carrier frequency lists, the one or more of the carrier frequency lists specifying at least one carrier frequency, the one or more of the carrier frequency lists being associated with the one or more of the identities of the rejected network slices included in the Rejected NSSAI. The processor circuitry is configured to store the redirection information, and to initiate, upon requesting a service with at least one of the network slices in the Rejected NSSAI, a cell selection procedure based on the stored redirection information.

    摘要: A UE reports an ECGI of a target eNB/gNB missing an X2/Xn interface to a source eNB/gNB. The source eNB/gNB sends a configuration transfer message to a network element to get the X2/Xn interface TNLA of the target eNB/gNB. The source eNB/gNB initiates an initial backoff timer and an exponential backoff multiplier. The source eNB/gNB determines whether the TNLA discovery procedure time is equal to or greater than a current backoff time, the current backoff time being equal to a previous backoff period multiplied by the exponential backoff multiplier. The source eNB/gNB may resend the configuration transfer message to the network element when a previous TNLA discovery procedure time for the same ECGI is equal to or greater than the current backoff time, and not resend the configuration transfer message to the network element when the previous TNLA discovery procedure time is less than the current backoff time.
