摘要: A base station comprising a processor and a communication interface configured to communicate with a plurality of cells in the network. The processor and the communication interface are configured to initiate a Broadcast/Multicast Service Session in the plurality of cells and provide configuration, coordination and synchronization to the plurality of cells for the Broadcast/Multicast Service Session. This is to ensure that the plurality of cells transmit identical data, substantially simultaneously. The Broadcast/Multicast Service configuration comprises radio resource configuration information including time and frequency resources, transmission configuration including modulation and coding scheme, and scheduling period. The communication interface and processor are further configured to notify the plurality of cells when the Broadcast/Multicast Service Session starts and when it ends.

摘要: A system and method are disclosed for authenticating and authorizing access to and accounting for consumption of bandwidth for IPv6 connectivity to the Internet over Wireless Access Vehicular Environment (WAVE) service channels by client devices using an Authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) server. The AAA server authenticates and authorizes client devices to access WAVE service channels, and accounts for bandwidth consumption by the client devices using WAVE service channels to access the Internet. The AAA server enables an RSU infrastructure operator to quantify wireless bandwidth consumption by in-vehicle devices using the WAVE Service Channels, on a per-device basis.

摘要: A wireless communication device includes a processor configured to select an offload processing task for performance by an edge computing device; cause a baseband modem to establish a direct wireless connection between the wireless communication device and the edge computing device; cause the baseband modem to send first data to the edge computing device via the direct wireless connection; and receive second data from the edge computing device, wherein the second data comprise a result of the offload processing task performed on the first data. The edge computing device includes a processor configured to receive, from a user device, offloaded data to be processed according to an offload processing task; execute the offload processing task on the offloaded data; and cause the radio via the interface to wirelessly send a result of the executed offload processing task via a direct wireless connection with the user device.

摘要: The disclosed technology includes a method and system for preventing or reducing cyber-attacks in telecommunications networks, such as 5G networks. For example, a first node in a 5G network can detect that a first connected device is at risk of a cyber-attack based on one or more conditions and can broadcast to a plurality of nodes in the RAN that the first connected device is at risk of the cyber-attack. The first node can receive a first message from a second node of the plurality of nodes confirming or acknowledging that the first connected device is at risk of the cyber-attack. In response to receiving the first message from the second node confirming or acknowledging that the first connected device is at risk of the cyber-attack, the system can deauthorize the first connected device.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In a wireless communications system, a user equipment (UE) may determine a preference of the UE for a termination point between a core network and a radio access network (RAN), the core network and the RAN supporting communications for the UE via at least one or a first cell and a second cell each associated with a multi-connectivity mode of the UE. The UE may transmit, to a base station, an indication of the preference of the UE for the termination point. In some cases, the base station may determine the termination point based on receiving the indication of the preference of the UE, and the base station may transmit a message indicating a configuration for the multi-connectivity mode to the UE, the configuration indicating the determined termination point.
