摘要: Items such as enclosures may be provided with hidden magnets. An enclosure may be formed from a flexible housing layer. The flexible housing layer may be configured to open and close by folding around fold axes. Portions of the flexible layer may include a flexible base layer with openings. Flexible magnets may be embedded within the openings. The flexible magnets may be used in forming a magnetic clasp for the enclosure. The flexible magnets may each have a height and durometer value that closely matches the height and durometer value of an adjacent portion of the flexible base layer, thereby helping to hide the flexible magnets within the housing layer.

摘要: A foldable display device includes a flexible display module having an electroluminescent unit, a flexible functional module on the flexible display, the flexible functional module having at least one function selected from the group of polarization, a color filtering, color conversion, a touch sensing, and biometric information recognition, and a flexible window module on the flexible functional module. A side surface of the flexible display module, a side surface of the flexible functional module, and a side surface of the flexible window module may be located on a first plane at a first side portion. An inner angle formed by an upper surface of the flexible window module emitting light and the first plane may be an acute angle at the first side portion.

The cover sheet may be a glass cover sheet and may define a raised perimeter region that surrounds an interior portion of the cover sheet. A light pipe may be disposed below the raised perimeter region and may diffuse light emitted by the display panel and/or a backlight.

摘要: A group of glass compositions in the Li2O—Al2O3—SiO2—B2O3 family that can be chemically strengthened in single or multiple ion exchange baths containing at least one of NaNO3 and KNO3 for a short time (2-4 hours) to develop a deep depth of layer (DOL). In some instances, the DOL is at least 70 μm; in others, at least about 100 μm. The ion exchanged glasses have a high damage resistance (indentation fracture toughness ranging form greater than 10 kgf to greater than 50 kgf) that is better than or at least comparable to that of sodium aluminosilicate glasses.
