摘要： An enclosure for providing abundant convection cooling to components placed therein while protecting the components from environmental factors external to the enclosure. Wall, roof and floor structures form a compartment for containing the components; the wall structures define openings for air passage into the compartment through a bottom opening and out of the compartment through a top opening, as internally warmed air is moved by convection through the enclosure. Louvers in the walls prevent precipitation and other external environmental elements from entering the compartment through the bottom openings. An overhang eave of the roof has a lip that extends downwardly to prevent precipitation intrusion through the top opening or openings. Screen material internally affixed to the walls covers the openings to prevent entry of insects and small animals to the inside of the compartment.

In addition, the sliding-type portable wireless terminal use the torsion springs having a small height, thereby manufacturing the spring module with a slim size and being advantageous in terms of the miniaturization of the terminal.

摘要： A cover and bracket are provided for covering ceiling junction box openings in which there are no visible connecting devices on the face or outer surface of the cover. The cover has an inner surface and an outer surface. A peg is connected to the inner surface of the cover and includes raised ribs at an angle to the outer periphery of the cover. The bracket is adapted for connection to a junction box with connectors such as bolts or screws, and has one or more central engagement openings which are sized and shaped to selectively receive and engage the peg such that the cover holds fast to the junction box and covers the junction box opening and some portion of the surrounding ceiling surface. In a preferred embodiment, there are two central engagement openings. A first engagement opening contains spring engagement tabs that provide frictional holding of the peg. A second engagement opening is of a diameter less than the peg and ribs allowing the cover to be rotated clockwise therein. The central engagement openings may be elongated to permit inversion of the bracket for installation over junction boxes that are recessed into the ceiling.

摘要： A waterproof cover for electrical devices such as electrical outlets, receptacles, switches, ground fault circuit interrupters, dimmers, etc. The waterproof cover has snap-in modular cover plates which can be used either alone with one gang covers or outlet boxes, or ganged together in combination for use with two gang electrical covers or outlet boxes. The cover plate has a side edge which defines an overhanging interlock extending along a first length of the side edge and an underhanging interlock extending along a second length of the side edge. The arrangement is such that the overhanging interlock can interlock with an underhanging interlock and the underhanging interlock can interlock with an overhanging interlock of a second similar cover plate to form a two gang cover plate for a two gang weatherproof cover. Alternatively, the overhanging interlock can interlock with an underhanging interlock and the underhanging interlock can interlock with an overhanging interlock of a one gang waterproof cover. At least one other side edge of the cover plate snap fits under at least one retention boss in the cover, and in a disclosed embodiment three other side edges of the cover plate snap fit under retention bosses in the cover and are secured between the retention bosses and a seating flange.

摘要： A weatherproof cover is provided to shield an electrical structure, such as an electrical outlet or plug, electrical switch, meter, or the like. The weatherproof cover is used to shield the electrical structure from moisture, dust, and wind. The weatherproof cover is a relatively inexpensive, easy-to-fabricate, and effective one-piece weatherproof cover which is attachable to an existing wall or other flat surface, and which is easily mountable thereon. The weatherproof cover is openable and closable to permit ready servicing or use of the electrical switch or outlet structure being covered. A spring is used to resiliently bias a top portion of the weatherproof cover to a bottom portion of the weatherproof cover. In use, bolts or screws can be inserted through openings in the bottom portion of the weatherproof cover into a wall or other surface. The bottom portion of the weatherproof cover has an aperture therethrough, which exposes the electrical structure being covered, so that when the top portion of the weatherproof cover is in an open position, the electrical structure can be used.

摘要： A new and improved apparatus is disclosed for enclosing Romex wire (standard electrical wire) in an inline connection. The apparatus is composed of two attached box-like portions which are pivotally mounted to one another. On each end of each box-like portion, a tab is present which can be removed in order to allow for a Romex wire to flow through the box when the box would be snapped shut. The box is designed to enclose the wire nuts of any electrical connection in order to improve fire safety requirements for standard electrical wire. One of the box-like portions has an externally mounted tab which would allow the present invention to be mounted on a standard “2 by 4” beam.
